About this experience

The Khustai National Park is well known as a home to wild Przewalski’s wild horses; it is not the only attraction of the Park. Because the Park occupies such a full territory, there is ample opportunity for various outdoor activities such as takhi and bird watching, hiking, horse or camel riding, photo shooting and visiting ancient artefacts there. After our next destination is Kharakhorum city, which once served as the capital of the Mongolian Empire and an essential station of the Silk Road; and thus has much more to share than its current physical appearance. Next stop will be Elsen Tasarkhai, a marvellous oasis with dunes, vegetations, Lake and birds, Orkhon valley and waterfall. • Duration: 4 days tour, three nights • Tour starting time: 08:30-09:00 • Breakfast: 08:30, Lunch: 12:00-13:00, Dinner: 17:30-18:00 • Tour ending time: 17:00-17:30 • Group Size: 1-24 • Tour distance: Distance 1100 km • Tour Operator: Enza Tours LLC

Awesome

Took a 5 day tour (Gorkhi Terelj + 4 day) alone first, then joined by another guy Awesome experiences! Tour guide Misheel was so kind and knowledgeable, and the driver Temujin is a great (and hilarious) guy apart from being a great driver Horse & camel riding were the best, and nomadic families are extraordinarily hospitable, they welcomed us as one of their own And all of that for a very affordable price Enza helped a lot with visa stuff as well (invitation letter and all) and she is also great to work with

Fabulous wholesome experience

Amazing experience! Well organised and planned itinerary for my 8 day central mongolia trip. Enza did a great job planning according to my needs. Guide Michelle was fantastic, knew what works and made me feel very comfortable as I stepped out of my comfort zone. Driver Dhana was great and was very organised, punctual and efficient.

Saw so much in such a short time

I took a short Central Mongolia trip with Enza Tours. Everything was perfect. Enza answered my questions about the trip options in detail before booking. During the tour, everything was as described, and more. Our guide/driver was Tamir. He was very efficient and personable. I was amazed by how much we could see in such a short time, in a place where points of attractions are very far from each other. Tamir had a great sense of humor and communication skills, so even though we were moving fast, we were very entertained and relaxed. Enza and Tamir really went out of their way to find out what my interests were, so that I could select the right tour package. It indeed was perfect for me. When I am back in Mongolia, I plan on working with them again.

5 amazing days! Thank you Enza Tours

An amazing tour! Our guide, Amy, was so fun and made our tour so enjoyable. She quickly gained an understanding of what we’d enjoy and facilitated a fantastic 5-day/4-night experience for us. She was highly knowledgeable about all of our destinations, exceptional English and translation skills ensuring we had no issues and went above and beyond to assist us where needed. Our driver, Ganaa, was an expert and navigated all terrain and traffic with ease. He and Amy worked amazing together. Thank you to Enza Tours for a fantastic itinerary. As we travelled outside the peak season, many of the usual accomodation options were ruled out. The 4 places we stayed were all accomodating and warmly welcomed us, served fantastic food and took great care. We had a special experience often being the only tourists in some popular destinations, which was really cool! I strongly recommend Enza Tours to facilitate your visit to Mongolia.

Amazing 4 day tour

I organised a 4 day tour of Central Mongolia for myself and my 20 year old son with Enza who was amazing. She was very helpful, quick to respond and we felt we were in good hands from the beginning. The trip was well paced, the activities excellent (horse riding around the mountain a particular highlight!), the accomodation was good and the food tasty. Our driver, Miyegombo, was very considerate who took great care of the vehicle, drove responsibly and was very obliging when we needed coffee / bathroom breaks! Batbaatar was very knowledgeable about history, translated famous Mongolian songs and poems for us and shared Mongolian customs with us. It was a pleasure travelling with the two of them and we were able to include quiet / down time as well which was appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Mongolia and would love to come back (and bring more of the family!). I would thoroughly recommend Enza Tours!

4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ulaanbaatar.

How much does 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia cost?

+

Prices start at $593 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ulaanbaatar usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ulaanbaatar is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Ulaanbaatar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ulaanbaatar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ulaanbaatar and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Tour: Central Mongolia start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ulaanbaatar within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ulaanbaatar?

+

On Outty we rank every Ulaanbaatar experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Genghis Khan Statue+Terelj Park+CamelRide+Eagle, A day trip to Terelj National Park and Statue of Chinggis Khan, BEST 5* Chinggis Khaan Airport UBN Ulaanbaatar Transfer Taxi 24/7. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ulaanbaatar?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ulaanbaatar?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
