A Truly Life-Changing Safari Experience
We found Rustic Nature Tours through so many great recommendations, and honestly, every single one of them falls short of how exceptional the experience actually was. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. During the booking process, they answered all of our questions quickly and clearly. They gave us very helpful recommendations about clothing, luggage, and everything we needed to know to make sure we had a smooth experience without any unexpected issues. From the pick-up time and the park entrance to the hotel check-in, everything was handled perfectly. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful, with spectacular views. We were welcomed with an incredible Maasai singing and dancing experience, and the entire staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Every day, coming back to camp truly felt like coming home. The food was also varied and delicious. And then there were the game drives… honestly, they were LIFE-CHANGING. Our guide, Kelvin Ndolo, was truly exceptional. He is an incredibly knowledgeable and highly skilled guide, and he seemed to have a sixth sense for knowing exactly where to go and where to find the animals. His experience was evident throughout every single game drive. He consistently found the best spots not only to see the animals, but also to take incredible photographs. What I loved most was how respectful he was toward nature and wildlife. That made me feel even more comfortable and allowed me to enjoy every encounter without feeling that we were disturbing the animals. Kelvin taught us about every animal we saw, sharing interesting facts and details that made the experience so much more meaningful. He always knew where to position the vehicle for the best possible view, and most importantly, he never rushed us. We had plenty of time to simply sit, watch, admire, and take everything in. He was incredibly patient with us and even helped us find our favorite animals more than once! We could truly appreciate the difference his experience made when we talked to other tourists and compared our game drive experiences. It was very clear that the quality of the sightings, the spots we were taken to, and the overall experience we had were on a completely different level. We were genuinely amazed by how much more we were able to see and experience. He also taught us Swahili throughout the trip, while he learned Mexican Spanish from us, which made the days even more fun. 😂 Kelvin is truly an expert, but beyond his knowledge and skills, what makes him so special is his personality. He is incredibly friendly, funny, patient, and has such great energy. He made every game drive enjoyable, exciting, and unforgettable. This trips will stays with me forever, and Rustic Nature Tours and Kelvin were a huge part of making it so special. If you are planning a safari in Kenya, I wholeheartedly recommend Rustic Nature Tours. They truly exceeded every expectation we had. And if you are lucky enough to have Kelvin as your guide, you are in for an absolutely incredible experience. 🦁🐘🦒❤️

1st time experience in a Safari
It was a really good experience, it's totally recommended, the service of the office guys is good, they answer to you everytime and with a lot of enthusiasm. The truck was really good with a lot of personalized service. The guide was the best one, fully recommended our guide, Kelvin Ndolo, he drove us through all the safari to let us catch some good pictures, the service is really good with him, he was a nice person with a lot of experience, telling you about everything in Kenya in general, nice time with him, helping, giving advices, experienced man. In general we can say that we wouldn't be in a better tour and guide for the first experience in Kenya.

A great safari in Masai Mara
We had a wonderful time with Kelvin guiding us around the Masai Mara Reserve! Kelvin was a wealth of information about the wildlife. We were able to see so many animals up close. In addition to seeing all the big 5, he pointed out beautiful birds and all kinds of other wildlife. Going before the high season felt like a big win. We didn’t see the wildebeest migration, but we also didn’t have to battle crowds and it felt like we had the park to ourselves. The lodge he booked for us was amazing, and he made our pickup and drop off a seamless experience

Masai Mara most exciting Place
We chose Masai Mara for 3 nights which is the most amazing place for the wildlife. Our Tour …run by Rustic Nature Tours. We chose them as they were sure we would see the Wildebeest migration, that's was spectacular! We saw just about every wild animal too, including a Lion feast, hyenas, giraffes & elephants as well as deer of several kinds, monkeys etc Our accommodation was spotless & the food was plentiful with lots of choice. A laundry service & all toiletries included. Towels for the Pool too. Breakfast outside on safari is perfect with chairs, food & drink. We stop at spotless washrooms along the way so no problems there either! Knowledgeable driver Lucas & Guide Kelvin both trained at College to answer all your questions, and provide their vast knowledge of their beloved Africa.

An unforgettable safari experience
An unforgettable experience thanks to Kelvin! Kelvin was truly the best guide I could have asked for. Warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made the entire safari experience unforgettable. From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease and knew I was in good hands. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the best time—spotting animals, sharing insights, and making every moment fun and meaningful. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. Get Kelvin as your guide, and you’re in for something special.

4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $1,650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 days Maasai Mara Private Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
