Phenomenal Trek!
Our experience with Inca Soul could not have been better! Our guides were phenomenal!! Their knowledge of Incan history and spirituality was incredible! Their concern for our well-being and safety was very apparent. We had a group of 10 people; eight did the 4-day trek to Machu Picchu and two chose the 2-day experience. We all participated in a 1-day tour of the Sacred Valley prior to those treks. (Tip: after the Sacred Valley tour stay in Ollantaytambo to avoid the long drive to/from Cusco that evening and next morning). Inca Soul handled the logistics for the group beautifully! We all met up as expected on the final day to tour Machu Picchu together. For the 4-day trek: The food was beyond extraordinary, especially given the limitations of being in the middle of nowhere, and they easily accommodated the vegetarians in our group. The accommodations were more than ample: two people to a 4-person tent meant space to move around, the Inca Soul sleeping bags were toasty warm, and the cots an added convenience we didn’t expect. As for the trek, the beauty is impossible to describe! Seeing so many Inca sites en route to Machu Picchu was outstanding! We were frequently the only ones at each site, occasionally sharing a site with one or two other groups. So, it was a little shocking to have to share Machu Picchu with all the crowds! If you are feeling adventurous, I highly recommend considering an Inca Soul trek with a different final destination; perhaps one of four sites that are larger than Machu Picchu. Leave Machu Picchu to the tourists that can’t handle the trek 😊 Speaking of which, I am 60 years old, in reasonably good shape, and while I had to stop often to catch my breathe at the higher elevations, was able to complete the 4-day trek without problem. I couldn’t exactly keep up with the 20-somethings in the group, but did OK.

Amazing Experience!!!!
We had an amazing time with Freddy, Guido and the IncaSoul team over an 11 day tour through Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Aguas Caliente. One of my favorite days was our guided hike through Pisac and visit to the market. We had the best empanadas and chicha morada in Peru - delicious!!!! We received excellent support and high quality meals on our 4 day hike on the Camino Inca. It was an incredible experience with memories to last a lifetime. Well worth the investment in the package we selected. IncaSoul truly puts their heart, soul, and deep expertise into creating a special experience for their customers.

Amazing experience with IncaSoul
My 2 friends and I just completed a 11 D/ 10N experience in Peru with IncaSoul. I am a repeat customer as it was my 2nd time traveling with IncaSoul. We had a wonderful guide in Lima who showed us around the city historical center and the Barranco neighborhood. Then we flew to Cusco for a day tour of the magnificent Qoricancha with Fredy. We also coated many Inca sites in the Sacred Valley prior to starting our 4 day trek on the classic Inca Trail. A highlight of the Sacred. Alley was our visit to Pisac, a beautiful Inca site and village. Don’t miss out on the local empanadas and chicha morada! We were treated to wonderful views on the Inca Trail and supported by a fantastic IncaSoul guide and crew. We were treated to wonderful milt-course meals along the trail. Overall, an amazing experience well worth the price of the tour package.

4 day Salkantay Trek
The four day Salkantay Trek was absolutely amazing!! Our guides Paul and Ruben were the best, and their group was so helpful and kind. They got the campsites ready every morning and took them down every night. We were always provided the yummiest breakfast+lunch+dinner. I highly recommend booking with them!!!

the perfect salkantay trek
The whole experience was amazing the food from our chefs (mr Toribio and Celio) was delicious authentic Peruvian dishes and there was always plenty to eat to keep us energized throughout the hike. our tour guides Rubin and Paul were amazing too, they were very patient with us when we needed to go slower and led the way when we were going fast, they both also always had something interesting to tell us. the trek itself was incredible beautiful and all our stops were very well coordinated. We booked through Freddy at inca soul and he went above and beyond every step of the way, even after the tour and we had been dropped off we had some issues with our hostel he circled back around to help us figure it out and brought us to our new hostel

4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu cost?
+
Prices start at $699 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Days Luxury Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
