Amazing Experience! 5 day Inca Trail with Andean Path
We are a family of four (kids age 10 and 12). I was a little bit nervous bringing the kids on the Inca Trail, but it was something we really wanted to do. I looked at a lot of different tour companies to find the trip that was right for us. As soon as I reached out to Andean Path I knew it was the right fit. Alicja was extremely responsive to my questions and found the trip that would work for us. We did the 5 day private tour. Andean Path is also 100% Peruvian, and that was important to us. Having a private tour meant that we could set the pace that was right for us. Our guide, Ronald, was excellent. He set our daily schedule to suit our speed. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the Inca and all the sites we visited along the way. Our chef and porters were amazing. They worked so hard to set up camp and feed us every day. The food was excellent, plentiful, and had a lot of variety. The trip was also very well organized. Gear was high quality and in good condition. Transports were always on time. Andean Path took care of everything. I would strongly recommend Andean Path to anyone who is looking to do a trip in the Cusco area.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the great review - we're so happy we were able to create a great trip to suit your family's needs. We hope you made memories you'll remember forever!

No words can describe
My daughter and I just completed the classic 4 day hike to Machu Picchu along with a 1 day tour to Rainbow Mountain with Andean Path and we cannot thank Ronald / David enough for their assistance in making this trip truly an adventure of a lifetime. The service we received on our hike by our porters, chef and guide was exemplary, and I would highly recommend Andean Path for your adventure in this beautiful land.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the lovely review - we're so glad you had a good trip and enjoyed our tour service. We hope to welcome you back to Peru for another hike in the future!

Trip of a lifetime, exceptionally caring and knowledgeable local company
Curated a private trip with Alicja and David to complete the Salkantay in 3 days, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, and Ausangate to rainbow mountain. I cannot explain how incredible an experience this was. From the trip detailing and booking process to the execution with our guide Ronald, horseman Victor, Chef Nazario, and drivers Junior and Juan everyone was knowledgeable and kind. Each day was meticulously planned and executed far beyond our expectations. So many extra safety measures and extra effort went into ensuring our trip was phenomenal. We loved getting to talk with the group about Peru, the Andes, and Amazon. We were so cared for and had such fun with everyone. This was the trip of a lifetime with so much care and joy embude within each component. To tour Peru with an Andean group, eating the best Peruvian food in the Andes and Amazon above 13000 feet with master chef Nazario, learn Incan history, and explore all the nature was a privilege. If you can book with this company, do.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the excellent review - we're so glad you had a great trip with us and enjoyed our tour service. We hope you leave with lifelong memories and we hope to welcome you back soon to Peru for another adventure!

It was amazing, beautiful, professional, best guide ever Ron, brilliant history lesson, so much knowledge. Views are beautiful doesn't matter what weather. The whole team was amazing, food surprised us so much, we did not expect to eat like that, but Nasario our chef was the best. Whole 4 days on inca Trail was super amazing journey. Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1,200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour?
+
Included: Private transportation; Personal tents; Air mattres; Porters and Cooks; and Lunch. Not included: Tips; Last day Lunch and dinner; Last day Hotel; and Sleeping bags. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 332 listed pickup locations in and around Cusco. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour offered in?
+
It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 4-Days Private Inca Trail Tour?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
