4 friends 4 days in Siem Reap

From the moment I contacted Hok Cambodia Journeys their response was fast and professional. We shared what we wanted to see and Mr. Hok crafted a personalised 4-day itinerary that was exactly right for our group of four. Highlights: expert guided tour of Angkor Wat and the Angkor Thom circuit (Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King), Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, Angkor Zipline (Gold Course), Tonle Sap floating village with sunset cruise, Apsara dance dinner and optional Phare Circus. Accommodation was at the Royal Crown Hotel & Spa (Deluxe rooms) and transfers were smooth. Our guide, Nivath, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, full of fascinating stories about Angkor, and happy to answer questions about local life and traditions. Mr. Hok personally joined us on the final day at Tonle Sap, which was a lovely touch. The driver was excellent and thoughtful, always providing cold water and fresh cold towels after each site visit. Mr. Hok also arranged a complimentary massage for us, which was much appreciated. Logistics, entrance fees (including the Angkor temple pass), zipline, one lunch, the Apsara dinner, bottled water and towels, and the sunset boat trip were all taken care of as promised. Communication, timing, and service were all top-notch. Overall we had a fantastic trip, fell in love with Cambodia, and would highly recommend Hok Cambodia Journeys to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Hok, Our “Adopted Cambodian brother” and the best tour

Hok is the best guide as well as his brother lee (van) driver and hun (tuk tuk) driver. Amazzing unforgetable trip, will always remember my best times with hok and the great stories and adventures he was so kind to share with us hok is like our cambodian brother from another mother. Hok knows all the special history and stories of the local temples and location as he clearly did great in his tourism school teachings compared to others I saw at least at Ta Prohm, he pointed out a special carving that I saw a few guides walk past with their group while not the most important part of Ta Prohm it was a very special thing to see and I dont believe you will see it if you dont book with Hok. Also I recommend staying at heritage suites with Hok’s recomendation. Best guide and best hotel recommendation from Hok. Hok is such a happy man with a great story and a great outlook on life absolutely will be returning again some day soon. Will be inviting HoK and family to my future wedding :) We stayed for 5 days with 4 of us, me my two aunts and my uncle who has used hok along with his wife many times; was a great price for everything Hok provided us with great experience with an amazing atmosphere if you can bear the heat of cambodia it is very worth if the heat is worse for u he can also do winter time trips as well for cooler weather.

Feel totally comfortable hiring My Hok

Well my first review disappeared before I was finished! Let me say again the Mr Hok was excellent in so many ways. He was flexible, informative, always kind and understanding. He is a good hearted man that you can perceive right away. He is quite knowledgeable about ancient history as well as the heartbreaking era of Pol Pot, and the current situation in Cambodia. I was here ten years ago and the airport and roads are as modern as can be, not like ten years ago! However, certain problems like land mines still exist and continue to hurt children playing. Consider a donation to an organization that helps clear land mines. Finally, by all means hire Mr Hok. Our Driver Lin was an excellent and a safe driver and also a good heart. They will help you practice learning how to say “ Hello” and “Thank You” in the Khmer language.

Response from the operator: Dear Valued Mark, Thank you so much for your kindness and generous support, as well as for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your holiday with our organization in Siem Reap, Cambodia. We feel fortunate to have you as our customer and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Wishing you all the best, always! Warm regards,

A fantastic guide. Strongly recommend.

HOK took over an itinerary which had already been set up. He was brilliant at understanding our requests. He is knowledgeable, passionate about Cambodia and gave us an incredible experience. He also took some great photos! He is generous with his time and showed you more than most guides about life in Cambodia beyond the tourist traps. We would strongly recommend him. We saw Angkor Wat by Dawn, daughter of Ankor Wat, dry floating villages, sunset at floating village ( the best) , a local school (at our request) & food tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Natasha and Family, I am delighted to have had you as our guests during your holiday with Cambodia Holiday and Exploring. It brings us great joy to hear that you and your family enjoyed our travel services and found them satisfying. Cambodia is indeed a peaceful country, filled with friendly people and dedicated tour operators, including Hok Cambodia Journeys. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to provide you with hospitality that met your expectations. We sincerely hope to have the chance to serve your family again on your next holiday in Cambodia. Yours sincerely, Hok

A taste of cambodian history

We've been with hok for 3 days, 2 days of seeing temples (bayon, koh ker, angkor wat...) and 1 day in tonle sap and surrounding floating village. Hok was very friendly ,delivered us all the information I've asked him and knew all the best places to take some photos . Above all, he gave us a taste of cambodian hospitality in his family home.

Response from the operator: Dear my friend Thanks for your great sharing information about your wonderful holiday and exploring Siem Reap Angkor Cambodia. We are glad to hear that, we are looking forward to seeing you soon.

4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples cost?

+

Prices start at $255 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour | Explore Cambodia’s Best Temples start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
