Loved Angkor Wat experience.

We had a great guide, Phyrom, who explained bout the history of Angkor Wat and the other temples we visited in detail. He was very caring and gave us appropriate rest stops, toilet stops , best photo points and even took many photos of the group and individuals. This was a long day, but made great value for money by his assistance and care. Most enjoyable and the lunch cafe was great food and nice cold drinks.

Best Day Ever

Truthfully, we had one of the best days of our lives. The day ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish (with thanks to driver Lis for getting us everywhere!) and the site itself is beautiful. The best part, without a doubt, was the tour guide John who was friendly and so knowledgeable. There wasn't a question he didn't know the answer to (and we asked a lot!) and he made sure everyone had the day they wanted, whether that be information and facts, pictures or taking rest on the bus. Don't hesitate to book this tour and we hope you also get to meet John :)

Response from the operator: Dear, Valued Customer. Greetings from Siem Reap Shuttle Tour. Thank you so much for this incredible feedback on the Angkor Wat Discovery tour. We are absolutely overjoyed to hear that you had one of the best days of your lives on our tour. We will gladly pass your special thanks along to Lis for the smooth ride and to John for his incredible knowledge, friendliness, and attentive care. We are so happy he could tailor the day perfectly to your needs. Thank you for your high recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back again! Kind Regards Sreyleak Siem Reap Shuttle Team.

Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 94 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 3,287 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience?

+

Around 1,150 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Angkor Wat Discovery – Small Group Tour with Local Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
