Incredible experience

We will never forget this trip. Everything was amazing: the landscapes, the stops, the riads and camps, the staff and people we met and of course our guide Mubarak who was great at reading what we might enjoy or not and giving us valuable information about the history and culture of Morocco. We definitely recommend doing 4 days instead of 3 as it allows for a more relaxed trip back to Marrakech. We just finished and would go again right now if we could!

Response from the operator: Hi Berglind, Nice to hear that you enjoyed your 4 days Marrakech desert tour and thank you for sharing your wonderful experience. We're very happy to hear that our driver Mubarak did a good job to take care of you and made your trip so enjoyable. We hope to see you again in Morocco. Best regards

Highly recommended tour

Highly recommended tour. The trip exceeded our expectations. Our guide Mubarak was excellent. Before choosing that trip we reviewed the other as well - including 3 days tours. We decided to take 4 days as it is more relaxed and it was good choice. Our guide picked us up punctually from the hotel on the first day and we drove through high Atlas mountains to the so called 'Morocco Hollywood' were famous movies (e.g. Game of Thrones, Gladiator) were done. Our guide Mubarak drove us very safe and comfortable. He adjusted the pace to our needs. He recommend the best places for lunch, cafe breaks, bathrooms etc. when needed. Our first accommodation was with pool which was good after whole day trip. Next day we drove to the desert and had a camel ride (if you don't want you can skip it but I would recommend to take it) with heartbreaking sunset on the dunes. Then we spent a night in luxury desert camp (private bathroom, hot shower, wireless and electricity). The dinner with entertainment and breakfast were amazing. Above I described only the highlights as we saw many other interesting sights on the way. Moreover our guide Mubarak explained as a lot about Morocco, Berbers and visited places. Mubarak has excellent English and is very knowledgeable. He was also very polite. During the entire trip we felt extremely safe. Everything was very good organized. The food was good and places were clean. Once again I would like to appreciate the job of our guide that made our trip unforgettable.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review to share your experience. Your positive review gives us and our staff encouragement to keep up our good work and make improvements to our service. It has been a pleasure meeting you and hope to see you return to Morocco again. Best regards.

Couples retreat Moroccan style (with great host)

Our trip with Abdou was absolutely incredible, and we are so thankful our friends recommended his families company. The accomodation we stayed in including the night glamping in the Sahara desert were sensational value for money. I felt the places we visited highlighted the variety of the Moroccan landscape and gave us such an insight into how the indigenous Berber people live. To have Abdou introduce us to his friends ands family throughout the trip made our experience so much more special. He was an excellent tour guide that looked after us, took time to explain his and his families culture and really integrated into our group of 4 friends. I will recommend this trip to any of my friends.

Excellent Vacation

We are a family of 4, with 2 young kids (9 yrs and 5 yrs). We had a wonderful trip of Merzouga with Bari and his team. The trip was meticulously organised even though I confirmed only on the day before the day of arrival. Everything was well coordinated, right from airport pickup until the airport drop. Accommodation and food included in the package were fantastic. I personally did not have to prepare anything for the trip. It was quite hasslefree. Our driver and guide, Mohammed was a friendly and cheerful guy. He knows every nook and corner of the country. Ask him anything about the culture, food, tradition or politics, he has got the answer. A very punctual guy who is multilinguistic too. He was very careful in his driving, putting safety and comfort at the forefront. He helped us in getting good quality and cheap souvenirs from Morocco. His tips on what has to be done and what to be avoided were very valuable. Highly recommended 👍👍

4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech cost?

+

Prices start at $310 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4-Day Private Merzouga Desert Tour From Marrakech start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, From Marrakech To Essaouira Mogador Full Day Trip | Small-group, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
