Galle Face is a 5 ha (12 acres) ocean-side urban park, which stretches for 500 m (1,600 ft) along the coast, in the heart of Colombo, the financial and business capital of Sri Lanka. The promenade was initially laid out in 1859 by Governor Sir Henry George Ward, although the original Galle Face Green extended over a much larger area than is seen today. Located in the heart of Colombo in Maradana, Sri Kaileswaram Kovil in the Captain’s Garden is considered the oldest Sivan Kovil in Colombo. Though the kovil is situated in the centre of Maradana, this is also isolated from all sides with a network of railway tracks and not as easily accessible as you would think. Construction is estimated to have cost US$113 million.[6]

We had the most amazing morning with Blaze’s Tuk Tuk Tours. Blaze has the best communication of any tour leader I have ever had. The food was wonderful, couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Blaze for the magical morning. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Colombo. Honest, caring young man.

The most trust worthy Tuk-tuk drivers
We arrived on Celebrity Millennium, it's all a bit daunting, the cruise ship offers tours but so expensive and you can just jump on the shuttle and you will be met by many Tuk-tuk drivers and to be honest if you book with Blaze before you arrive he will look after you totally. The other drivers agree a price before you jump in and do not pay until you are finished they will always complain about not enough money and see us as millionaires and in away we are to them support Blaze and he will look after all your requirements and show you the best places, he will not moan about the injustice and you will definitely Tip him because you enjoyed your time with him and you can book for the next day too.
