3 Days in the Mara with Mike & Flexivel Kenya Safaris
We stayed 3 days in the Masai Mara and I’m still buzzing. Stayed at Jambo Mara through Flexivel Kenya Safaris and honestly, they nailed it. Our guide Mike was the real MVP calm, sharp-eyed, and knew exactly where to be at the right time. We saw lions up close, a cheetah on the hunt, and that classic big migration action without the chaos. Game drives felt smooth and personal, never rushed. Jambo Mara itself was perfect. Clean, comfortable, great food, and that feeling of being right in the middle of it all without the fancy-tour noise. Sunsets from the camp? Chef’s kiss. If you’re looking for a solid Mara trip without the overpriced nonsense, Flexivel Kenya Safaris and Mike are the ones. Already planning the next one.

Three epic days in maasai Mara with guide George
3 days in the Masai Mara with George hit different. From the first morning game drive the light was already golden and the plains felt endless. George knew every track and timing. We rolled up on a pride of lions still heavy from a night kill, then watched a cheetah family working the grass like they owned it. Later a massive elephant herd crossed right in front of us, babies stumbling between the legs of the big ones. Sunset brought a sky full of colour and a lone leopard draped over a tree branch like it had nowhere better to be. Day two we caught a wildebeest river crossing, pure chaos and dust and raw energy. George stayed calm, found the perfect angle, and just let us sit in it. Hyenas, jackals, and a stubborn buffalo rounded out the score. Nights under the stars with the distant roar of lions in the background sealed it. George was sharp, funny, and properly dialled in. Three days felt like a proper hit of the wild.

Our Unforgettable 3-Day Masai Mara Adventure with Flexivel Kenya Safaris
My fiancée and I just got back from our 3-day Masai Mara safari with Flexivel Kenya Safaris, and I still can’t stop smiling when I think about it. From the first message to the moment we said goodbye, Jonathan made everything so easy. He answered every question quickly, sorted the itinerary around what we wanted, and handled all the little details so we never had to worry about a thing. Honestly, it felt like having a friend on the ground in Kenya looking out for us. We stayed at Mara Maisha Camp, and it was the perfect base. The tents are spacious and comfortable (proper beds, hot showers, that little touch of luxury in the middle of the bush), the food was consistently good, and the staff were warm without being over the top. Sitting by the pool after a long day of game drives, watching the sky change colours at sunset with a cold drink in hand… those quiet moments with my fiancée were just as special as the wildlife. And the wildlife. We somehow managed to see all of the Big Five. Lions lounging like they owned the place, a big herd of elephants moving slowly across the plains, buffalo staring us down, a leopard draped over a branch in that classic “I’m too cool to care” pose, and even a rhino (which felt like the ultimate bonus). There were so many other moments too, giraffes silhouetted against the sunrise, a cheetah on the hunt, hippos grunting in the river, and endless zebras and wildebeest. Our guide was excellent at reading the landscape and putting us in the right place at the right time without rushing. Three days felt just long enough to settle into the rhythm of the Mara without feeling hurried. Early mornings, long drives, dusty roads, laughter in the vehicle, and that quiet sense of awe that hits you when you’re watching animals just living their lives with no fences and no hurry. If you’re thinking about a short but proper Masai Mara trip as a couple, I can’t recommend Flexivel Kenya Safaris and Jonathan enough. He really does arrange everything seamlessly. Mara Maisha was a comfortable, welcoming place to come back to each evening. We’re already talking about when we can go back.

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser cost?
+
Prices start at $1800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 226 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser?
+
Around 79 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 days Masai Mara on Private 4x4 Land Cruiser start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
