Heart warmful tour
We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience in the Maasai Mara, and we are very grateful to the entire team for making our trip so memorable. From the beginning, the communication and arrangements were smooth and professional, and everything was well organized. Our guide (Brian) was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the wildlife and the Maasai Mara. Thanks to his excellent skills and experience, we were able to see an incredible variety of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other species. He also took the time to explain the animals’ behavior and the surrounding ecosystem, which made the experience even more fascinating. The team was attentive, welcoming, and always willing to help. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the safari, while still enjoying an authentic and exciting adventure in nature. We highly recommend this safari company to anyone planning a trip to Kenya. It was an unforgettable experience, and we hope to return to the Maasai Mara again in the future!

Amazing first Safari!
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris. Booking: I booked with Jocky Tours only two weeks before my planned safari, and they were very responsive and accommodating. They answered all of my questions via WhatsApp within three to four days, and I was able to pay a deposit to secure my trip easily. Communication was a bit limited in the period immediately before the trip, which initially concerned me, but they ensured that all logistics and details were taken care of before departure. Accommodations: I stayed at Jambo Mara, a mid-range accommodation option that was perfect for the trip. My guide helped me check in and out and coordinated my lunches with the lodge, which made everything very smooth. The lodge itself was clean, safe, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Beverages other than bottled water were not included, but this was communicated clearly beforehand. After long days on safari, the hot shower and large, comfortable bed were exactly what I needed. The food was good overall, though it left a little to be desired at times. My favorite part was the live cooking station, especially the omelets, noodles, and pasta dishes. Guide: The most important part: the safari guide. I had John Walter, also known as “John of the Jungle,” and I would 1000% recommend requesting him if possible. He was charming, funny, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. During our first afternoon game drive, we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, and multiple female lions-all within the first three hours. On our second day, he asked what we most wanted to see and managed to help us find nearly all of it. He made a real effort to introduce us to new animals rather than repeatedly stopping at species we had already seen. John was truly a 5/5 guide, and I feel very fortunate to have had him for this experience.

Jambo Safari was worth the time and money
The overall experience with Jocky Safari was great, starting with the booking experience. The team was very forthcoming especially considering that we've organized everything within 48hrs prior to the safari. The overall arrangements was smooth and customer friendly. I was picked up from my hotel on time and without any complications. The team was proactive and kept me informed about the schedules and itennaries. It was my first safari and I'm glad that I did spend the money to do it. An experience that I will forever cherish. Thank you

Jocky Tours with John
I had an amazing two-day safari with John. He was always punctual, cheerful, attentive, and an incredibly careful driver. His knowledge of wildlife is impressive, and you can really tell how much he loves and respects the animals and his work. Throughout the safari, he made a real effort to find the best spots and give us as many opportunities as possible to see different animals. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five! He explained so much about the wildlife, shared stories with us, and guided us throughout the entire experience. John is also such a fun and friendly person. We laughed a lot, and we even ended up making a TikTok and dancing together! 😂 I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely recommend him to anyone going on safari.

Best Safari Experience
Jockey Tours is an amazing company to book with! They were very quick to respond to all of my questions and inquiries before my trip, which made the planning process so much easier. My safari experience in the Maasai Mara was absolutely incredible. Our tour guide, Richard, was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He made the entire experience enjoyable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Safari experiences can be expensive, but honestly, it was worth every penny. There is so much planning and organization that goes into making the experience memorable. I did the 3-day safari tour, which included two game drives, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. A special shoutout again to Richard for being such an amazing host and guide! He truly made the experience even better. Highly recommend Jockey Tours if you’re planning a Maasai Mara safari

3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $675 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 96 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days Mara Jambo Shared Safari Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
