The safari was the best we were very happy and will do it again with baboon budget safaris.
At first i was a little unsure but this was the best decision ever. The service was n top. I went with a guide called Dennis and he was so kind, patient and he knew the places to look and go to be able to find the animals. We really enjoyed our safari. I recommend baboon on budget safaris.

Excellent Value for Money Safari
Baboon Budget Safaris provided an excellent safari experience from start to finish. Communication before the trip was clear and quick, and everything was well organized as promised. The guide was experienced, friendly, and very knowledgeable about wildlife, which made the game drives enjoyable and informative. The service was reliable, the itinerary ran smoothly, and the safari offered great value for money. I would confidently recommend Baboon Budget Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Paid for 3 seats, got only 2 on the way back!
Poorly organized safari company. We paid for three seats but only got two on the way back from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi, forcing my child to sit on my lap for five hours. Compensation was promised but never delivered, and communication stopped completely. Not reliable. One staff member said another passenger had missed their original vehicle and was placed into our car, taking one of our paid seats. • Another person claimed a different safari vehicle had broken down, so passengers were redistributed among other cars — again resulting in us losing a seat. Regardless of the reason, this is not the customer’s responsibility.

Best company and guide
Great arrangement and organising team. Got the best guide who patiently showed us the Big Five. The company understood patiently what we were looking for and curated our trip accordingly. We were a group of five and had the time of our lives. The owner and company staff are extremely kind and helpful. Special thanks to our safari guide who made our trip memorable. At Kenya, don’t think twice before booking them. You’ll have the best experience.

Hakuna Matata, this safari is the best!
We had an amazing experience with Baboon budget Safaris. Right from picking us up from Kenya until our journey till Masai Mara and back was well planned and organized. Ariana coordinated everything very well. Dennis made adjustments to our last minute plans. Anthony was the best guide one could ask for. Despite us telling him that we were done with seeing the animals, he was still energetic and enthusiastic even on the second day of our safari. We were lucky to see the big 5 and the whole pack of other animals and birds too. Thank you!

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $425 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days adventurous Maasai Mara Budget Group Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
