Absolutely Exceptional Experience!
I had the most amazing weekend getaway to Maasai Mara during 5-7 Dec, and I cannot thank African Beast and our fantastic guide Kevin enough! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized—comfortable travel, great accommodation, and a well-planned itinerary that allowed us to make the most of every moment. The game drive was the highlight, and thanks to Kevin’s incredible knowledge, sharp eyes, and passion for wildlife, we were able to spot the Big Five and so many other animals up close. His professionalism, and patience made the entire experience unforgettable. Kevin went above and beyond to ensure we were happy, informed, and safe. He truly made the trip special—not just as a guide and driver, but as a kind and genuinely warm person. I highly recommend African Beast and especially Kevin for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Maasai Mara. It was a wonderful and memorable trip!

Highly recommended!
Fantastic trip. African Beast handled everything perfectly. We upgraded to Jambo Safari Lodge which we really enjoyed. Our driver knew the game reserve in detail, and consistently got us seeing all types of game. In particular, he knew where the lions would be, we got amazing views, usually first! Finally, we chose an extra day and had a special ride back with our driver Patrick.
Response from the operator: Hello David, Thank you for the 5 star bubble rating review on your safari with us. We are happy to hear you had a fantastic trip with amazing frontline views. Thank you for choosing us again. Best regards, Mercy

An unforgettable experience
This was the experience of a lifetime. And there are many factors that contributed to this. First, the exceptional, prompt, professional and warm service before and during the trip by Mercy. No question and request left unanswered or unfulfilled. Even when we decided to make our one night stay a two night one, Mercy managed to rearrange and coordinate everything to satisfy this (quite difficult) request. Second, our driver and guide and spotter, Samuel, who took us on this trip. His driving was safe, his guiding was to the point and whenever necessary, without blabbing or overtalking or overbearing us. Moreover, he adapted to all our requests and tried to satisfy all our needs, from coffee and washroom stops, to stops for pictures, to details on the villages and the people we encountered on our way to the park. During the park visit (afternoons and early mornings) he managed to find and show to us in the safest and most suitable to us ways an amazing variety of animals and birds. He took us to picture-perfect spots where we had first line seat views of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, hippopotamus, crocodiles, zebras, lions, cheetahs, buffalos, ostriches, hyenas, jackals, and wildebeest, as well as many different types of vultures. He knew the park very well, he continuously coordinated with other drivers, to get us to the perfect spots on time. Third, the migration experience. We were very lucky that migration of wildebeest and zebra had just begun and we were able to witness a unique spectacle. Third, the lodge we spent two nights, Ashnil proposed by Mercy, that added style and class and comfort in this amazing experience. Samuel brought us back to Nairobi, safe and full and happy with unforgettable memories, millions of pictures and our hearts and minds in peace and balance. I know that such experiences are very personal and, often, timing, luck and other parameters play an important role in evaluation. But professionalism, passion, dedication, customer care and flexibility played in our case a major part. We thank you all.
Response from the operator: Hello Little Summers, Thank you for taking your time to write us back a well detailed positive feedback on your unforgettable safari experience with us. I am reading this with great joy hearing how spectacular you safari was from the witnessing of the one of the 10 Wonders of the world the wildebeest migration, to having the best frontline views and picture perfect spots for wildlife capture to your amazing Driver Samuel who catered for each and every request you had and to a wonderful stay at Ashnil. It was a pleasure organising everything for you, communicating with you and also attending to your requests even when you added an extra night which was a happy task . We welcome you back for more amazing spectacular experience with us again for your next visit to Africa. We loved having you ! Best regards, Mercy

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
