Surfing is the Best part of my Maui vacation!
Had three amazing days of lessons with Eddie, he is very knowable, so patient, and a lot of fun. This is the third time I have had lessons with Eddie, they are always great, and he always has something new to teach me. Oh and the video they create was awesome! They made it look like I knew what I was doing, I love it! I will always use Surf Yoga for my surf lessons. I also want to say working with Summer to schedule my lessons was wonderful, she is very professional and kept me completely up to date.
Response from the operator: Aloha Selena, We are so happy you had a great time! Thank you SO much for surfing with us again. And thank you SO much for the review and for sharing your experience with others. It means the world to us! Until next time... A Hui Ho! Kindly, Summer and Eddie

Best surf lessons for sure
Had a great time with Eddie and really appreciated the honesty and lessons not only on surfing but the etiquette that goes along with it. I feel confident in low/negative tide surfing and that I can surf the area without feeling out of place or putting anyone in danger/harms way ! If your able, the 3 day progression is the way to go.
Response from the operator: Aloha Logan, Thank you for surfing with us! We are so happy you had a great time. And thank you for writing a review and sharing your experience with others. We are very grateful! Until next time... A Hui Ho! Kindly, Eddie and Summer

The surf lesson to get the full experience of Maui/Hawaii.
Surfing lessons with Eddie and Epse have highlighted our trips to Maui for our son Alex. This last trip is the third set of lessons for our son. Alex has started his first set of lessons as a nervous kid of age 7 to being a confident and comfortable beginning surfer at the age of 13. He is now ready to progress to the next level. Alex new looks like he is in his element on the board amongst the waves This is due to the excellent instructors at Surf Yoga Maui. Eddie is great with children and adults alike. All the Instructors are patient, amiable, encouraging, and keeping the lessons at a pace the student can handle. Eddy even got me riding a couple of the waves. If you want to learn how to surf you must surf with Eddie and his team at Surf Yoga Maui.
Response from the operator: Aloha Kyaw, We are so happy you all had a great time and we love seeing and hearing about the surf skill and confidence progression. Thank you so much for surfing with us again on this Maui trip and thank you so much for making the special effort to write a review for our company and share your experience with others. It means the world to us! Until next time… A Hui Ho! Kindly, Eddie and Summer

The best surf lesson!
Taking a surf lesson can be quite intimidating but Eddie puts you at ease the moment you meet him. His experience and patience make him an incredible instructor for all levels. I saw more progression in one session with Eddie than in all of my previous lessons taken elsewhere. I’d highly recommend the 3-day progression package if you are trying to pick up surfing as a new hobby. I’ve gained confidence and skills that would’ve taken me years (if ever) to learn if I tried on my own. I had such a great experience that I came back 6 weeks later for more lessons! If you are a beginner, Eddie will have you standing up on the board and catching a wave with a huge smile on your face. There is no better spot to learn how to surf than with Eddie at Kalama Park. The sun is shining, the water is warm, & nothing but good vibes. A surf lesson is a MUST for your Hawaiian trip. Summer makes it incredibly easy to book, responds quickly, and has great recommendations. Eddie and Summer are truly special people with contagious positivity. Thank you for making my Maui trips memorable, motivating me to become a better surfer, and getting me hooked on a new sport that gives me so much joy. Mahalo Eddie & Summer
Response from the operator: Aloha Meghan, Thank you so much for making the special effort to write a review for our company and to share your experience with others. We are so grateful! Thank you for surfing with us and we look forward to next time! Until then... A Hui Ho! XO

We booked the 3 day surf course semi private and it was great in every respect! Our surf instructor eddi, was totally nice patient and funny. We had a lot of fun with him! Communication with the surf school also worked flawlessly. The equipment provided was very professional and in good condition.

3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.
How much does 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park cost?
+
Prices start at $503 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.
Is 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Day Surf Progression for Families, Kids, and Beginners in Kihei at Kalama Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Maui?
+
Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Maui?
+
April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Maui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
