Owner of the company is VERY deceitful!
The Safari, the guide, and the lodging were all very good. Dealing with the owner on the other hand was horrible. We had an issue with our visa at the last minute she said it was no problem to start our trip a day later. She charged us an airline change fee of $100. However she refused to book us on another airline for our return to Nairobi she had plenty of time to do it but she kept trying to use her vouchers or tickets that she had unbeknownst to us. The day before our return she tried to get an additional $495. Out of us for an extra night in the hotel or to pay for new airline tickets for our return. We refused to do that so consequently we were stranded and had to come back with the driver on a six hour ride on horrible dangerous roads. I would not trust this woman and ever use her again there are too many good options out there.

Incredible Masai Mara
Such a wonderful 3 days. It started off with pickup from my Nairobi hotel by Francis who arrived early and drove me to the airport where I took a 40 minute flight into the Masai Mara giving me a beautiful Birdseye view to start with. When I landed my guide and his brother, who were both Masai’s, started me off with a couple of hours touring the Reserve before heading to the keekorok lodge which was a well setup place within the Reserve and also had a lake full of hippos (which couldn’t get to you). Then we headed back out after to see the wonderful vistas and wildlife and we also visited a Masai village which certainly put life in perspective. The next day was a full days drive around the Reserve where I saw a cheetah kill a deer of some sort. The third day I actually went up in a hot air balloon to get a different view before a few hours drive to try and catch the 1 of the big 5 that eluded me, the rhino, but to no avail in the end. Then we headed back to the airstrip to head back to Nairobi where I was again met by Francis the driver who gratefully took me back to the hotel to pick up my luggage (which I had to leave there as the flight to the reserve only had a 15kg limit) before taking me to the international airport. Overall the whole experience was brilliant and a well run operation from start to finish. I couldn’t rate this tour highly enough.
Response from the operator: Many Many thanks Davep839 for giving us chance to serve you and going a head leaving a wonderful review. We are indeed very happy you had a brilliant experience with our Team and especially our driver Guide Francis and The Masai driver guide at Masai Mara. We look forward to meeting and serving you and your friends in the near Future. Best wishes from Nairobi

3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $2475 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Day Masai Mara Flying Luxury Lodge Private Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
