Yellowstone in winter with Wildscape Adventure

My husband and I enjoyed three days in Yellowstone with Wildscape Adventure. Christopher worked hard to provide us wildlife sightings and photography tips and techniques. He made us both feel very comfortable. The park was beautiful and I'm happy with the wildlife images. We would love to join Wildscape Adventures again in Yellowstone again in the spring.

    Another excellent adventure!

Another excellent adventure! It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Chris and Wildscape Adventures touring Yellowstone. He is knowledgeable about the park; well-researched in wildlife movements and migration; and knows his photography. On this trip in particular, we set my brother up with a camera on a gimbal to use because he is in wheelchair, and Chris went out of his way to help him and make sure he was getting good photos. I cannot recommend Wildscapes Adventures enough for your next photo tour of Yellowstone!

Chris went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for me! We got some truly excellent shots, he helped me to capture the moments perfectly and use the camera much more accurately. We had great conversations and he was always helpful. All three days were different and I would not have had nearly as good as an experience had I not gone with him. We captured eagles, ravens, moose, beautiful blue birds, fox, coyotes and elk. Everything I wanted to see we did see and I would love to come back in a different season for another trip with Chris. He is professional, reliable and easygoing, I would highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much Ryan! We had a great time touring Yellowstone with you. Hope to see you again in the future and enjoy your travels!

    Great experience!

This was a wonderful trip. Seeing the wild in winter was amazing. We could just stop (in the pullout areas) whenever we saw herds. The opportunity to take pictures in a safe environment as long as we wanted was great. I learned a lot of tips from Christopher and improved my skills. He asked about what I wanted to learn and built on those skills. A very worthwhile trip and money well spent!

Response from the operator: Thank you Bonnie. We are so happy to hear you had such a great time. We hope to see you again soon!

    BEST VACATION EVAH!!

This was our first time at Yellowstone. I would not change a thing as to who we used for the Tour; Wildscape Adventures. Chris Georgia is the BEST! He is knowledgeable with everything and anything, from where to get a good cup of coffee to where we would see wildlife! He also respects the rules of the park and the safety of us and the animals! A 10 Star rating!! We are already booked to work with him again in the Fall.. THANK YOU, Chris!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Helen! We're happy to know you had such a wonderful time on our tour!

3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bozeman.

How much does 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone cost?

    +

Prices start at $1495 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bozeman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bozeman is not rushed.

Is 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bozeman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bozeman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bozeman and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bozeman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bozeman?

    +

Bozeman handles the north side of Yellowstone: park day tours, wildlife safaris in Lamar Valley, fly fishing on the Gallatin, rafting, and Big Sky skiing in winter. On Outty we rank every Bozeman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Alpaca and Llama Farm Tour, Best Of Yellowstone Full Day Nat'l Park Tour From Bozeman, Full Day Yellowstone National Park Tour with lunch included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bozeman?

    +

June to September for park tours, December to March for skiing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bozeman?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
