    Trip of a lifetime

We went on our first hiking experience and it was a trip of a lifetime! Our tour guide Grecia was very knowledgeable, professional and kind! We also met up with Allen who joined us for the day and he knew where all the animals were hiding. Grecia had an excellent lunch for us everyday and took us to the most amazing sites in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We were comfortable and treated amazingly! We could not have asked for more. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your first hiking experience turned into a trip of a lifetime. Grecia will be so happy to hear your kind words, and we’ll be sure to pass along the compliments to Allen too! It sounds like you had an incredible time exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton, spotting wildlife, enjoying the scenery, and of course, Grecia’s amazing lunches. We’re so glad you felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the trip. Thank you for choosing Bindlestiff Tours, we’d love to adventure with you again!

    Beauty and Majesty!

Seeing Yellowstone and the Tetons National Parks for the first time was a dream come true with Bindlestiff. Every detail of the accommodations, all the driving, and an in-depth tour of all dimensions of the parks were taken care of so I could savor the beauty, vastness, and majesty. Our guide was wonderful with her seamless management of the tour, her experienced teaching of the geology, geography, and history of the area as we drove, spacious time to explore, and knowing the best places to visit, stop for lunch, photo spots, hiking trails, and what to experience. throughout. This is my second Bindlestiff tour - first was the Southwest Highlights Tour 7 Days - equally wonderful! I highly recommend Bindlestiff - a company of the highest attention to detail, integrity, and passion for the wilderness. I plan to go on their Canada and Alaska tours in the next few years. Thank you for the beauty and majesty, the kindness and care!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing Bindlestiff Tours again! We're thrilled your Yellowstone and Grand Teton adventure was a dream come true and that your guide helped make the experience so memorable. Your kind words about our team and your continued trust mean the world to us. We can't wait to welcome you on a Canada or Alaska adventure in the future!

Great tour for first time visitors to Yellowstone/ Tetons.

This tour included all major sites in Yellowstone with plenty of time to take in the beauty, which is indescribable. Perfect for first time visitors to the area. My husband and I traveled with 3 sons aged 25-30. They enjoyed the tour as well. Highlight was a special day with Evan Stout, a wildlife tracker. We observed a wolf pack at their rendezvous site. A wolf who had gone off on her own for a bit traveled very close to us and we were able to observe her travel back to the pack and how the pups welcomed her back. We were blessed with lots of other animal sightings as well throughout the tour. The accommodations were very comfortable. Sack/picnic lunch was provided daily with plenty of food. Dinner was usually on your own - with plenty of options to choose from. The drive through Tetons was nice, but cloudy so that the grand Tetons were not visible. We did stop to boat/ hike around Jenny lake (beautiful) We then did an unscheduled stop at Mormon’s Row and a fish hatchery with spectacular views. Our guide, Fiona, was amazing. Knowledgable, kind, and flexible with a ton of experience and insight. There is not an opportunity for long aggressive hikes on this trip. Most hikes 1-3 miles if you want to do them. This was our second Bindlestiff tour. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed another one of our tours with such a great guide! Fiona is fantastic and a true pro. We hope to see on another tour soon!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bozeman.

How much does 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $2995 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bozeman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bozeman is not rushed.

Is 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Bozeman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bozeman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bozeman and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5-day In-Depth Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bozeman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bozeman?

    +

Bozeman handles the north side of Yellowstone: park day tours, wildlife safaris in Lamar Valley, fly fishing on the Gallatin, rafting, and Big Sky skiing in winter. On Outty we rank every Bozeman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Alpaca and Llama Farm Tour, Best Of Yellowstone Full Day Nat'l Park Tour From Bozeman, Full Day Yellowstone National Park Tour with lunch included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bozeman?

    +

June to September for park tours, December to March for skiing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bozeman?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
