First time in Marocco - Big thumbs up for Said!
Big thanks to Said! My friend and I booked the 3 days-desert in Merzouga. If you are considering going to the desert in Marocco, go to Merzouga! You want to see the dunes. To tell you a bit more of what you can expect if it's your first time booking a trip for the Merzouga desert.. : My friend and I were in a mini-bus (16 people) All people book the same trip but through different agencies. Being in the same mini-bus doesn't mean you'll all stay overnight in the same riad/tent. The highlights of this trip were all people we've met along the way, the Sahara, the dunes, the sunset and the sunrise (note: desert adventure will only start on the last evening of your trip and last until early morning) Big thumbs up for our first night in the riad with our driver/host Mustafa! Said, please send our love to Mustafa, he definitely made our rip special. All of us in the mini-bus, who are looking to get the real adventure, discover the local culture and to meet people, maybe would have wished the 3 days-desert not to be, such a "touristy" experience. You can feel the trip has been organised for tourists by the stops. The lunches are, from a culinary and experience point of view, not the most authentic. But the stops will be all the same, doesn't matter the agency you choose Said has been great, and I'd definitely re-book more adventures throught his agencies. Only recommendation for you travelers, get in touch if you want to know pick-up times/location Marocco ❣️

Great trip with great service.
We just finished our amazing trip with Said, who is our driver, taking care of my and 5 other my family for the road trip on Morocco. This is an amazing trip, the route designed well, his service is great! We travelled 10 days, visited 5 cities in Morocco, saw lots of beautiful scenes, incredible old buildings, cultures, very impressive.

Once in a LIFETIME!!!
My friend and I just returned from this unforgettable trip to Morocco, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, our guide Said made sure we felt completely safe and well taken care of. He was FANTASTIC — super friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and always making sure we were comfortable. The itinerary was perfect, with a great balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed. If you're looking for an incredible trip to Morocco, this is totally the way to go. Highly recommend!!!!!!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 3 Day Desert Tour in Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes with Camel Trek?
+
