A great experience - 8 day tour

We had a fantastic experience with Morocco Excursions. We had an 8-day tour and really got to immerse ourselves and experience several different areas and cultures of Morocco. We couldn’t have done this without our driver, Hamid. He made sure we got to experience all there was for us to see. It was perfect having a driver as it got us to where we needed to be without the hassle of trying to figure it out, but also gave us enough space to explore on our own. Hamid was wonderful and a joy to travel with. Our experience w Morocco Excursions was top notch! We had wonderful guides - Youssef, Amin, Mohammad, and Hossine. Beautiful accommodations, fabulous food, a 100% Moroccan based company. It was a perfect adventure.

Amazing Morocco trip – Special thanks to our driver Brahim!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Morocco. The trip was well organised, everything ran smoothly, and we got to see some truly beautiful places. A special mention has to go to our driver, Brahim. He was honestly so much more than a driver. Not only was he punctual and a safe, confident driver on some tricky roads, but he was also incredibly friendly and warm. Throughout the trip, he shared useful tips, pointed out interesting things along the way, and explained aspects of Moroccan culture and daily life that we would have completely missed otherwise. It was a genuine pleasure having Brahim with us — his company made the long drives between cities enjoyable and he always had a smile on his face. He really added a personal touch to the whole experience. Highly recommended — and if you can, request Brahim as your driver. He'll make your trip that much better!

A fabulous introduction to Morocco

We did the 3 day desert tour from Marrakech via Dades gorge. We had a fantastic time and I would recommend this as an excellent introduction to Morocco. Our guide Ali was charming, helpful and knowledgeable. I booked by email and didn’t really know what to expect. Ali turned up at 8am at our Riad as arranged, made us welcome and the fun began. I travelled with my 21-year old son. The vehicle was very comfortable. We felt safe with Ali’s driving ( the snow made bits of the journey a bit dicey). The food stops were great ( food was delicious and plentiful throughout). We were well looked after throughout and I wholeheartedly recommend this company. We had so much fun and the scenery was stunning.

3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga cost?

+

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 147 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga?

+

Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3-Day desert tour Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
