The dream trip with the gang!

Going to Amboseli for three days with my closest friends was undoubtedly one of our best decisions of the year; using Triptick Travels made the whole experience incredibly smooth from the very first day. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the sunrise. Waking up before dawn, having a hot coffee, and heading out as the sky began to brighten was pure magic. On the second morning, the sky cleared up completely around Mount Kilimanjaro, offering us that classic postcard view: the snow-capped peak towering over the savanna while the wildlife roamed below. Our driver-guide from Triptick Travels was exceptional: he knew the park like the back of his hand, showed infinite patience when we wanted to linger to take photos, and knew how to position us perfectly, away from other safari vehicles. The lodge organization, logistics, and meals handled by Triptick were impeccable, allowing all four of us to relax, laugh, and simply enjoy each other's company. If there is one detail that surprised us a bit during the safari, it is the incredible amount of dust kicked up in the park during midday outings. Since the terrain of Amboseli consists largely of an ancient dried lake bed, the dust kicked up by vehicles and the afternoon wind can become very intrusive, especially if you are driving with the pop-up roof open to take photos. By mid-afternoon, all our belongings (and our faces!) were covered in a fine layer of red silt. This is an aspect you need to mentally prepare for; bringing a lightweight neck gaiter or a scarf to cover your nose and mouth is absolutely essential. Aside from this minor detail, the trip was a complete success. Triptick Travels provided us with a smooth, high-quality, and unforgettable experience that we will be talking about for years to come. If you are planning a getaway with friends, Amboseli should be right at the top of your list!

    Kilimanjaro Views That Feel Unreal

The highlight of this safari was undoubtedly the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. On our second morning, the sky was completely clear, and we got a full, unobstructed view of the mountain with elephants grazing in the foreground, it looked like something out of a postcard. Triptick Travels did an excellent job selecting accommodation that maximized these views. Even from the lodge, the scenery was incredible. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Our guide made sure we were in the right place at the right time for both wildlife and photography. He understood how important those Kilimanjaro moments were and went the extra mile to help us experience them fully. The entire trip had a calm, almost peaceful atmosphere, combined with the excitement of wildlife sightings. It’s a perfect safari if you want both beauty and relaxation.

Up-Close Elephant Encounters Like Nowhere Else

This safari was all about elephants and it delivered beyond what I imagined. Thanks to Triptick Travels, we had multiple close encounters with elephant families, including young calves playing and adults protecting their groups. It was fascinating to watch their interactions and movements so closely. The timing of the game drives was clearly well planned. Early mornings and late afternoons gave us the best chances to see wildlife when they were most active. Our guide shared insightful details about animal behavior, the ecosystem, and even the history of Amboseli, which made the experience more meaningful. One of the most memorable moments was seeing elephants crossing the plains with Kilimanjaro clearly visible behind them. The guide even helped us find the perfect spot for photos, which made a huge difference. Accommodation, meals, and transport were all smooth and comfortable. The entire experience felt carefully curated, and I really appreciated the attention to detail from Triptick Travels.

    Peak Safari Experience

My 3-day Amboseli safari was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The park offers breathtaking scenery, with wide open plains and the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro, which made every moment feel special. The wildlife viewing was incredible, especially the large herds of elephants that Amboseli is famous for. I also got to see a variety of animals including lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species. Each game drive felt unique and exciting. The overall atmosphere in Amboseli is peaceful and less crowded compared to other parks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and the safari allowed enough time to fully appreciate the beauty of nature. Overall, this safari was a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and stunning views. I would highly recommend a 3-day Amboseli safari with triptick travels to anyone looking for a memorable wildlife experience in Kenya.

    A must visit

I enjoyed every bit of this safari experience. The Triptick Travels tour consultants were very considerate and welcoming. They ensured the safari itinerary was tailored to meet my request. This was a dream come true for me especially because I got to see the snow caped Mt Kilimanjaro at close range. My safari to Amboseli lasted for three days and included two very exciting game drives. My first game drive was on the fist day I got to Amboseli which followed immediately after a quick lunch and a short relaxation at the camp. The second day was dedicated entirely to game drives. We left ion the third day but I still felt like I wanted more because of how wonderful the whole safari experience was.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review. We’re thrilled that your 3-day Amboseli safari was a memorable experience and that you enjoyed the tailored itinerary, exciting game drives, and the breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Your appreciation of our team means a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you on another unforgettable safari.

3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views cost?

    +

Prices start at $800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Day Amboseli Safari with Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
