Thank you Navajo Spirit Tours for an Excellent Experience
My first experience with a tour of Monument Valley was exceptional thanks to Navajo Spirit Tours and our tour guide Sean. Our group was all family and all over 21 years of age. This helped get the event off to a great start. Our guide, Sean, is a young man with an exceptional sense of humor. He truly has a talent for entertaining an audience--he even delighted us when he played a Native American replica flute of an instrument that was excavated in the area--very cool. At the same time he was able to teach our group a great deal about the culture, people, and ancient history. He was clearly well-read and educated on the topics he talked about. Additionally, Sean never hurried us at each stop and always had something informative to say no matter what the topics of the questions asked were. I believe this tour was a great value for the ticket price. The ticket purchase transaction was smooth and the pickup location was convenient. Would definitely re-do this tour again in the future.

Excellent optional tour for Monument valley
Excellent tour. Good way to get away from the crowds. If you want to get up close to the pictographs and ruins this is a great option. You will see great rock formations but not as majestic as Monument valley, but if you have a high clearance vehicle (4 wheel helps but just skip the roughest stuff if you don’t) drive the Monument Valley with an audio tour and pay for the Mystery Valley. Our guide Will did a great job covering the relics, ruins and Navajo history.

Mystery Valley with Sean
Sean Holiday was our tour guide for a private tour through Mystery Valley. Sean is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of Navajo culture. He answered all of our questions and educated us on the Navajo people and their way of life. It was a real pleasure spending the morning with Sean. Listening to the sounds of Sean’s flute echo off the canyon walls was an unexpected pleasure and one we won’t soon forget!

Exceptional Experience
While other tours focus on landmarks, this excursion to beautiful Mystery Valley gave us deep insights into Anasazi and Navajo culture. Our exceptional guide Larson Homer took us to ancient dwellings to learn about everyday life and to ceremonial sites with haunting petroglyphs and pictographs. We also visited a natural auditorium for an etherial musical performance we will not soon forget. Gorgeous vistas everywhere. The tour was a highlight of our travels, and I highly recommend the experience.

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Monument Valley.
How much does 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $98 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Monument Valley usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Monument Valley is not rushed.
Is 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 123 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Monument Valley, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour?
+
Around 43 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Monument Valley can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Monument Valley and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3.5 Hours Mystery Valley Group Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Monument Valley within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Monument Valley?
+
Monument Valley is only fully accessible with Navajo guides: backcountry 4x4 tours into restricted areas, sunrise and sunset photo runs, horseback rides and cultural storytelling. On Outty we rank every Monument Valley experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 Hour Monument Valley Tour, 2.5 Hours of Monument Valley's Backcountry 4×4 Tour, Monument Valley Group Tour - 3 Hours - Navajo Spirit Tours. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Monument Valley?
+
April to May and September to October for mild temperatures. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Monument Valley?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
