Buoyancy Is Key
My experience with Blue Note Scuba was nothing short of amazing. I decided to get Open Water certified and followed up with four fun dives over 6 days. My instructor, Joel was awesome. He was patient and honest about my progression every step of the way. He taught me the essentials to enjoy diving. I highly recommend asking for Joel personally. On my last dive I was paired with Lu. She was amazing and very friendly. We were able to do Yucab Reef, Santa Rosa Wall, La Francesa, and Palancar Garden. Incredible!!! I would like to give a shout out to the Cha-Kay crew. They were excellent, safe, and experts at their craft. I highly recommend using Blue Note Scuba if you are a newbie or and experienced diver. One of my best vacations ever. P.S.- Don't forget to ask for wag while on the boat. They have really cool rash guards.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing Blue Note Scuba for your Open Water scuba certification and fun dives in Cozumel! Earning your diving certification is a huge milestone, and we are beyond thrilled to have been a part of your journey into the underwater world. Joel was very happy when we shared your review with him! He takes immense pride in delivering patient, thorough, and honest scuba instruction to build confident divers, so hearing that his teaching style resonated with you means everything. Asking for Joel for open water training or guided diving is always a solid recommendation! We're also delighted you got to explore the reef with Lu and our awesome crew aboard the Cha-Kay. Diving world-class sites like Yucab Reef, Santa Rosa Wall, La Francesa, and Palancar Gardens all in six days is truly an ideal Cozumel diving itinerary. Our divemasters and boat captains love sharing the vibrant coral walls and marine life that make Cozumel a top-tier dive destination for both complete beginners and experienced divers alike. And thanks for the shout-out for our custom Blue Note Scuba rash guards! Protecting our divers from the sun with cool onboard swag is always a fun perk. We can't wait to welcome you back to Cozumel for your next diving vacation!

Great dive company!
Definitely would recommend when in Cozumel! Our guide Lu was amazing, and she took care of everything while on board! The entire staff was super friendly and the surface interval lunch was fresh and authentic Mexican! Boat was clean and safe and we had a great 2 tank dive. Only a quick 10 min taxi ride from the port to the Marina and can easily be walked if desired.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review and for highly recommending us to anyone visiting Cozumel! Lu is truly a gem, and we'll be sure to pass along your compliments to her—she always goes above and beyond to make sure our guests don't have to lift a finger on board. We’re also so glad you enjoyed the fresh lunch during the surface interval! We believe that good food is just as important as good diving. Knowing that you felt safe, comfortable, and well-taken care of on our boat is exactly what we strive for. Capitan Jose is very proud of keeping his boat clean. Thank you also for sharing the helpful tip about the quick 10-minute commute from the port to the marina—that’s super useful for future divers! We can't wait to have you back on board with us the next time you're in Cozumel. Until then, safe travels and happy diving!

Amazing Cozumel diving
This scuba group did a fantastic job taking care of everything and guiding everyone to see beautiful Cozumel. We saw lots of undersea animals including sharks, turtles, rays, etc. Would highly recommend this group for diving in the future. I will be booking with them again
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We love hearing that you had such a great experience diving with us. Cozumel truly has some of the most breathtaking drift diving in the world, and it sounds like the ocean really put on a show for you! Spotting sharks, turtles, and rays all in one trip is about as good as it gets. Our team takes a lot of pride in handling all the logistics and heavy lifting so that you can just focus on relaxing and enjoying the marine life. Hearing that we succeeded in taking care of everything means the world to us. We can't wait to welcome you back on the boat for your next underwater adventure. Safe travels until then, and we'll see you next time!

Amazing
Diving with Blue Note Scuba was amazing! They were so responsive getting us scheduled and were able to pick us up at our hotel. In addition, they accommodated us in scheduling a night dive! Lu was so wonderful. She made us feel comfortable since it had been a while and showed us some amazing dives.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We are absolutely thrilled that you had such a blast diving with us. We always try to make the experience as seamless as possible—from the quick scheduling to the hotel pickup—because the only thing you should have to worry about is enjoying the diving in Cozumel. And we're so glad we could make that night dive happen for you; there’s really nothing quite like being underwater after the sun goes down! I will absolutely pass your kind words along to Lu. She has a real gift for helping divers shake off the rust, find their comfort zone, and spot the coolest marine life. Hearing that she made you feel safe and comfortable is the best compliment we could ask for. We can't wait to welcome you back to Blue Note Scuba for your next underwater adventure. Until then, safe travels and see you soon!

Best scuba outfit I dived with on Cozumel!
Wr booked theb2 tank dive on their website. The meeting instructions were sent via email. Everything on this trip was fantastic. Our guide took our dive bag onto the boat and set everything up for us. She gave us a great briefing and we had a great 1st dive. Then we went closer to our 2nd dive spot and they put up a sandwich bar on the boat ( bread, ham, cheese, mayo, fruit, chips, etc.) And handed put cold water. While we were eating our guide switched the tanks and gave us a briefing for our 2nd dive. We had a great 2nd dive. We saw a pretty good size nursing shark, a large moray eal, several turtles, angel fish and a few lobsters. The reef was impressive. It was well worth the money and we got back to shore exactly as planned. I highly recommend blue note scuba. Also the boat captain was fantastic. I would recommend them for beginners as for seasoned divers as they divided us into different skill groups. The less experienced divers went with other guides. The atmosphere was laid back and enjoyable as one would expect on a dive boat. I wish they had offered a 3 tank dive. I would go for that in a heartbeat.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the awesome 5-star review and for diving with Blue Note Scuba in Cozumel! Honestly, hearing that you wished for a 3-tank dive is the best feedback we could ever ask for. This may be something we can expand on in the future. It sounds like you had an incredible day out there—nurse sharks, eels, turtles, and a great lunch between dives. That's a perfect day in our book. Our team works hard to keep things organized but laid-back, so we're so glad you felt that vibe and appreciated the separate skill groups. I’ll make sure your guide and the captain get a big shout-out for making your trip so memorable. Come back and see us again soon—we will be waiting for you! Best, The Blue Note Scuba Team

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel cost?
+
Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 159 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel?
+
Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Tank Morning Dive: Scuba Diving in Cozumel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
