The best diving experience in Cozumel
It was the best diving experience; Cozumel is a beautiful place to dive, and Cozumel Divers made sure I enjoyed it to the fullest. The equipment was in excellent condition, with small groups and personalized attention. Their staff made me feel very safe and cared for at all times.

Amazing diving...
Amazing diving experience. Arianna was my primary contact point, with amazing English, I felt like I was booking an excursion back in the States. She called within the hour of my booking on viator to confirm details. Unfortunately, she was recovering from a sinus infection so she did not dive with us. We do have to take a quick taxi from the playa Carmen ferry terminal to a marina Espinosa where we departed, and the instructions were very clearly explained to us. Taxis now take credit card, which is a new change. Our master diver and captain were just as amazing though. Great briefing, reminders for hand signals and safety. Really helped calm my nerves since I hadn’t been diving in awhile. Once we got in the water, amazing fish and sea life. We saw some chonky lobsters, sting rays 3 feet, a huge pufferfish 2 ft, and multiple flounders. Just an amazing experience. They also fed us some very sweet pineapple and basic turkey sandwiches between dives. Highly recommend, would definitely do again.

Cozumel Divers escort to the ocean floor!
Experienced dive team of Lobo and Lola fitted us with quality dive gear and cruised us to Palancar Reef and then to Casa Blanca dive site, I appreciated the dive master Lobo pointing out the marine life because I am colorblind and I don’t see much without help

Highlight of an AWESOME MEXICO vacation!!
Loved the crew! Ari, Roberto, Lola and Lobo were the happiest dive crew I’ve ever met!! Top that off with gorgeous coral canyons and huge fish and sharks, you’ve got a memory to beat the band!! Loved our diving experience! Can’t wait to do it again next year! Hopefully with Judy too! She dives pretty regularly with these guys!! 🦈🦈🦈🐟🐡🐠🪸🪸🪸🐠🐡🐟❤️

10 out of 5 stars - HIGHLY recommend
My husband and I had only been on one other scuba trip, over a year and a half ago, before coming to Cozumel and diving with Cozumel Divers this week. The entire team at Cozumel Divers (CD) was professional and really made us feel safe and confident. We received a refresher course on the boat from Arianna who is knowledgeable and friendly, and who dove with us (or own dive master) for both dives. She was wonderful! The reef is amazing, the dive spots that CD took us to were absolutely breathtaking. The boat captain, Lorenzo, was courteous and knowledgeable - and very fun. We dove with CD two more days after our refresher and had Lobo as our dive master and he was also incredibly knowledgeable. He made us feel safe and confident as well, and he was a blast to spend the day with. The delicious lunches and the SUPER convenient pick up each morning off the pier at the Money Bar (across the street from the Landmark condominiums) were just added bonuses. Cannot recommend this dive company highly enough. We will be back!

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel cost?
+
Prices start at $3000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Tanks dives for Certified Divers in Cozumel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
