Once in a lifetime experience

I did the Poonhill private guided tour. My friend and I booked with Dhanapati and his porter. We were not in the best shape but found this walk achievable and very rewarding, Dhanapati supported and encouraged us the whole trek and sometimes his kind words were the only thing getting us through! (the stairs on day one) They were both so kind, and taught us so much about Nepali culture, as well as being hilarious which helped to uplift the mood during those tough stretches of the trek. Our porter was amazing, i was so impressed and had so much respect for him, you don't realise just how difficult the added weight makes it, so i would really recommend a porter (specifically ours if hes available!) By the end of the trek we considered both of them to be family!! The teahouses were cosy, we had power, hot water, blankets, pillows and the food was always delicious. During the trek you are surrounded by breathtaking views, we even saw wild monkeys! The transportation was great, the car was clean and convenient.

Adventure that took me to Nature, local people and amazing Mountains

I only made a short trek but it was absolutely worth it. What a phantastic experience in a beautyful landscape. My Guide Danapati was very nice, helpful and explained a lot about people, mountains and the country. He also introduced me to locals to spend the evenings with them what was kind of my best evenings in Nepal. Also the people in the Hotels are super friendly. Food was a lot and very delicious. The Agency was open to change plans. The Highlight was Poon Hill in the Morning with amazing mountainview (Daulagiri, Annapurna, Fishtail). I had a wonderful time and can recommend Agency and Guide to every Nepalvisitor.

Great Experience

An unforgettable experience! The tour was well-organized, offering stunning sights and rich cultural insights. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and ideally located. Foods were delicious, hygienic, showcasing local flavors. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every stop fascinating. From start to finish, the itinerary was seamless and engaging. Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a hassle-free, enriching adventure!

Won’t recommend

The tour guide was late for two hours already on the first day. Some places were missing and no compensation on time or money. On the second day the weather was so bad, raining cats and dogs plus thunderstorms. With some common sense, this is dangerous for hiking in the open area. The tour guide did not check weather forecast before the tour, did not know the sunrise time (this’s on the agenda of seeing sunrise, did not know the height of mountain, mistakenly point the direction of Annapurna South (mixed up with Annapurna I), no information on the history and culture of the city, very unprofessional! Basically, I feel like everyone who can speak English, who can call themselves as tour guides, no license, no regulations. Besides, I dislike they kept asking for tips everyday, very tiring to entertain their requests in whole trip.

Amazing tour

Pokhara was a serene escape with stunning mountain views, peaceful lakes, and charming local culture. Highlights included the tranquil Phewa Lake, sunrise at Sarangkot, and the exhilarating paragliding experience. A perfect blend of natural beauty and adventure!

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Namaste! Thank you so much for this wonderful positive review. We are very glad to hear that you are happy with our service. We hope see you again. Best Wishes, Team of Welcome Nepal Treks.

2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off cost?

+

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 Nights 3 Days Pokhara Tour Package with Hotel Pick Up/Drop Off start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
