Cappadocia excellent experience. However, this is the worst company! Do not book with them!

Do not book with this company!! They said everything will be fine and then 5 days before my trip to Cappadocia they send me a message saying they have to cancel my trip. I was infuriated because I based my entire vacation on this trip. When I asked what was the reasoning, they said they couldn’t find flights. Which was a lie because I went online and found the flights. Worst company ever! Do not book with them!

    Not recomanded

I would not recommend booking this trip - instead book the one with optional balloon ride. I paid significantly more for the balloon ride (almost $350 PP over the regular 2 day tour) but the balloon ride was cancelled that day (apparently happens often) and viator only refunded s $109 per person stating that that was how much the balloon company charges them. It was like if I return a $50 shirt to a store but the store refunds only $10 saying that is how much it cost them from the manufacturer. It felt like a huge rip off. .

    A visual and sensual delight

This is a must for any traveler, visitor, photography enthusiast, who plans a trip to Cappadocia to make sure they get on a balloon ride especially the sunrise ride The balloon ride is etched in our memory ! The views are breathtaking and to die for - with 100s of balloons taking off as the sun rises, then weaving their way thru valleys and the rock formations - ending the trip on the high note with a glass of champagne! Our tour operators HTR Tours have been very flexible and accomodating, always prompt with their replies - special thanks to Pinar Ulutas for being available when we were stuck with our transfers We had the privilege of Jazi (JC) as our your guide, she has been one of the best tour guides we have met, her knowledge of history, geography and local culture is unique. We wish he all the best as she embarks on the next phase of her Journey - Thanks once again JC

    Amazing!

I highly recommend HRT Tours. They organized an amazing experience. Our tour guide Murat was great! He remembered everyone’s names in our group and even did the tour in English and Spanish. He was very knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and explained things in a unique way that made the experience very memorable. I will definitely recommend HRT Tours to all my friends who will be visiting Turkey in the future.

    Amazing All Around!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! If you're up for really getting out and seeing Cappadocia from all angles, this is the way to do it! The hot air balloon at sunrise was absolutely stunning (and made for some amazing photos that we still share, including a huge canvas in our living room!). The hikes, the amazing landscapes, the history - all of it was just breathtaking. Our guide for the two days we were in Cappadocia was Oguzhan Turkoglu and he was the best! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about all things Turkey, Cappadocia, and tour-related, he impressed the entire group by sharing little known facts about each of the places we all came from across the world. I imagine he would be a phenomenal tour guide in just about any place on earth! Again, I cannot say enough about how amazing this tour was and have since sent two separate couples to do the same! * It says we visited in June 2018, but we actually did in June 2014 (it wouldn't let me select anything further back). I'm a bit embarrassed it took me this long to write a review, but it just goes to show just how memorable it was!

2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.

How much does 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride cost?

    +

Prices start at $999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.

Is 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul with Cave Hotel & Balloon Ride start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Istanbul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Istanbul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Istanbul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
