An amazing adventure with big comfort

I couldn't be happier with the entire trip. The organization was amazing—everything ran smoothly, on time, and completely stress-free. The guide did an amazing job; he had a great attitude and made the safari feel like a true adventure rather than just a standard tour. The vehicles were also super comfortable and air-conditioned, with a fridge stocked with cold drinks, which was a huge plus during long drives. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a safari!

Two day safari with Altezza (Anold)

After our climb of Kilimanjaro we did a two day safari with Altezza and our guide Anold. Anold was engaging, knowledgeable and kept us entertained during the long drives between parks. His knowledge about wildlife and Tanzania kept my teenage daughters engaged and we saw the big 5 in two days. Altezza does things right, too vehicles, too guides, communication and even meals. I highly recommend.

Safari: 2-day trip to Tarangire and Ngorongoro

I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Altezza Travel for an unforgettable safari! My wife and I took a two-day tour visiting Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. It was absolutely magnificent. A very special thank you to our guide, Idrissa. He is a true professional of the highest level! Idrissa didn't just drive us through the parks — he lives and breathes his work. He knows animal behaviour perfectly, senses the right time and place to show the most spectacular moments. Thanks to his experience and attentiveness, we managed to see the Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard) — what an amazing experience! At the same time, he treated the animals and the park rules with great respect. Idrissa showed us the national parks in all their glory — from the endless plains of Tarangire to the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. We felt completely safe and came back full of emotions. I also want to thank Kirill, the manager who arranged our trip. Everything was clear, on time, and hassle‑free — from transfers to the bush lunches. It is a real pleasure to deal with a company that employs such passionate people. We are absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back to Tanzania with Altezza!

2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.

How much does 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater cost?

+

Prices start at $945 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 Day Tanzania Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

+

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Climbing Kilimanjaro through 7 days Machame Route, Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
