Great Trip to Central Mongolia
We had to adjust out travels in Mongolia due to a major gas crisis. We book this tour instead at the last minute. Our Guide and Driver were wonderful. We encourage other s to book this tour of you time limited. The tour covers quite a bit in a short time. There is extensive driving throughout the 2 days due the distance in Central Mongolia.

Would not recommend
The guide never picked me up in the morning and I got no information that the tour was canceled or not. I needed to call Viator and they couldn’t reach the travel agent either. Unfortunately very unprofessional and very sad since I really wanted to do the tour during a very limited stay in Mongolia.
Response from the operator: Hi dear We are truly sorry for the cancellation of your tour. Due to technical problems on our side it was cancelled. Once again we are really sorry about that. Sincerely yours NGA

Kharakorin Experience
The vast open spaces of the Mongolian steppes was impressive. The depth of Mongolian culture and history añades us. Kharkhorin is a must. We struck the lottery ejem we were able to see a wild horse relatively close.
Response from the operator: Hi there Thank you very much for traveling with us and your comment. This helps us keep going) NGA

Fantastic, well-planned...
Fantastic, well-planned experience. Urfa’s (guide) and the driver were incredibly hospitable and ensured they proactively met my needs (snacks, water, coffee, diet restrictions, etc.). We hit not only the stops mentioned in the itinerary, but would also see other quick-hit view points, passing animals, etc. that really broke up the long drive well. Would highly recommend. The sites visited are great, but even the drive across the Mongolian countryside was memorable.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comment. We are happy that travelers like you make us do more and keep loving what we do :) Hope you had a safe journey back to your home. Wish you all the best

Tour guide Utaa was very...
Tour guide Utaa was very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a long drive through the beautiful Mongolian countryside and thoroughly enjoyed Karakorum. Unfortunately, the national park was closed and so I did not get to see the wild horses. Loved the food and the overnight in a yurt

2 day Central Mongolia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ulaanbaatar.
How much does 2 day Central Mongolia cost?
+
Prices start at $398 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ulaanbaatar usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 day Central Mongolia take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ulaanbaatar is not rushed.
Is 2 day Central Mongolia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ulaanbaatar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 day Central Mongolia?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 day Central Mongolia suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 day Central Mongolia?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ulaanbaatar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ulaanbaatar and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 day Central Mongolia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ulaanbaatar within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ulaanbaatar?
+
On Outty we rank every Ulaanbaatar experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include BEST 5* Chinggis Khaan Airport UBN Ulaanbaatar Transfer Taxi 24/7, A day trip to Terelj National Park and Statue of Chinggis Khan, Genghis Khan Statue+Terelj Park+CamelRide+Eagle. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ulaanbaatar?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ulaanbaatar?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 2 day Central Mongolia?
+
Included: Lunch; Dinner; and Breakfast. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 2 day Central Mongolia include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 61 listed pickup locations in and around Ulaanbaatar. Be ready about 15 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is 2 day Central Mongolia offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 2 day Central Mongolia?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is 2 day Central Mongolia wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller; and Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
