About this experience
Sweetwater’s Game Reserve, also known as Ol Pejeta Ranch is located in an expansive 24,000 acres of a privately owned ranch, famous for its non-indigenous chimpanzees. The Jane Goodall Institute established a Chimpanzee Sanctuary at the site. The sanctuary does not encourage breeding but it recognizes the importance of raising baby chimpanzees to adulthood. A walk around the Chimps Sanctuary will give you an opportunity to spot the orphaned chimps. It’s also the largest Black Rhino Sanctuary in East Africa. Apart from the chimps and the black rhinos, you have a chance to view the amazing variety of wildlife such as the zebras, lions, leopards, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, Oryx, eland, baboons, elephants and various species of birds. Activities in Ol Pejeta include lion tracking and night game drives at an extra cost but worth every penny.

If you're looking for a unique and romantic getaway, Ol Pajeta Conservancy is the place to be! From intimate game drives in stunning landscapes to incredible wildlife sightings (including the last northern white rhinos), every moment felt special. The luxurious tented camps offered privacy and comfort, with amazing views and memorable touches like private plunge pools and outdoor showers. We loved the activities and horseback safaris that allowed us to experience the wildlife up close. The conservancy’s commitment to conservation and the local community made the experience even more meaningful. For a perfect mix of adventure, romance, and luxury, Ol Pajeta is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to return! We are very grateful to Africa Safariland tours for planning our trip and I would highly recommend them

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation. cost?
+
Prices start at $320 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation. take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation. suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation.?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-Day, 1-Night Ol Pejeta, The Heart of Rhino Conservation. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
