About this experience
We know what it's like to visit a new place (or return to an already-visited place). You want to see and experience as much as you can! We understand that. Our main goal with the Tour de Wilmington is to show you as much of Wilmington as possible. The areas that we travel through or have a brief stop in, are areas that you may not have discovered otherwise! Some of these are off the beaten path, some up-and-coming, but all are sure to impress. Our tours are focused on mainly riding the e-bikes, showing you around the areas. Getting on and off e-bikes can be challenging for some, and for this reason, we specifically do not require attendees to dismount and re-mount their e-bikes several times throughout the tour (aka, a talking tour). We will have brief stops at a few places, but for the most part, you will get to really enjoy a beautiful e-bike ride!

Easy and fun
An easy ride. The bicycles worked very well. Jim the tour guide was very good. Very hot 🥵 day 98-100. Bring extra water and some sorts of sun protection. Because I am diabetic and need to keep my blood sugar up, RAMAZ the owner got frustrated and stressed when I inquired about possible snacks. They don’t provide so I brought my own to prevent a medical situation.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review. We can not provide food because of our insurance. We do pass by a lot of store on the trip. If you told me you where a diabetic. I would have checked on you to see if you needed anything.

So much fun!
We had such a fun experience on the electric bike tour in Wilmington! From the moment we started, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of positive energy. One of the best parts was meeting new people along the way — everyone was friendly, and it made the ride even more enjoyable. Our guide was absolutely fantastic: knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about Wilmington. They shared so many interesting facts and hidden gems throughout the tour while making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. The stops along the way were perfect. We got to enjoy some of the best ice cream, which was such a fun treat during the ride, and we also stopped by a beautiful lake where we took gorgeous pictures and soaked in the scenery. Exploring Wilmington this way gave us a whole new appreciation for the city. The electric bikes made everything easy and enjoyable, even in the heat, and allowed us to see so much more than we would have on foot. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Wilmington or even locals looking for a fun adventure!

2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Wilmington.
How much does 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Wilmington usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Wilmington is not rushed.
Is 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Wilmington, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History?
+
Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Wilmington can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Wilmington and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2.5-Hour Tour de Wilmington E-Bike Tour/Sightseeing/History start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Wilmington within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Wilmington?
+
Wilmington runs riverfront history and ghost walks, Battleship North Carolina visits, film-location tours, and boat trips out to Wrightsville Beach and Masonboro Island. On Outty we rank every Wilmington experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include History and Architecture Walking Tour, THE Wilmington History, Haunts & Breweries E-Bike Tour (4 hr), Sailing Charters in Wilmington. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Wilmington?
+
April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Wilmington?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
