Stop. Look no further - you’ve found the best tour company!!
I honestly don’t have the words to convey how fabulous our time in Nepal was & to a great extent it was due to Saran with Nepal Treks & Tour. From day one we were COMPLETELY taken care of. There are a lot of trekking companies in Nepal. But it’s not till you’re sitting at an airport competing with hundreds of others to get on a flight to Lukla to even start your trek that you understand how important it is to have the right company pulling strings to get you there. The trek was fantastic. We were pinching ourselves every single day over the views & experience & we were taken care of every step of our trek. And while you’re in Nepal, make sure you have time to visit Pokhara and Chitwan. I travel a lot & am used to planning my own itinerary. But I could not have planned this trip more seamlessly or reasonably than Saran did. He has associates all over the country - he made sure that every day was planned perfectly to ensure we had both the R&R we needed and saw as much as we could see in the time we had. With him you’re in the hands of a seasoned professional. So truly, look no further. You’ve found your company. Carolyn

Nepal in your Future? Look no further than Nepal Treks and Tour
We had an Unparalleled experience with Saran! If you’re looking for a trip to Nepal, look no further than Nepal Treks And Tour! Our trek itself was perfect and our guide, Bhusan, was able to pivot adeptly with the weather and our personal and physical needs. Poshan took good care of us and Sunile our porter was helpful too. We became family! Not only did we have a thoughtful experience on our trek, Saran was the ultimate travel guide for our three weeks in Nepal. He took care of all the details, suggesting places and booking hotel stays, transportation and tours that were far beyond our expectations. We were completely taken care of by him and his attention to detail left no stone unturned. If we had a need, he was there to meet that need in a moments notice. We could not have asked for a better travel experience. Everyone needs a Saran. Book your Nepal trip with Nepal Treks and Tour with confidence!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $1298 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek take?
+
Plan for about 384 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 384-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 384-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 16 Days Everest Base Camp Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
