Unforgettable, lovely experience

Recently, I traveled to Nepal with Travel Wonder Hikes Nepal, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Expertly planned and executed 3-High Pass plus Everest Base Camp trek

NMA was recommended to our group of 6 by some friends who booked a couple of tours with NMA. Giri was very responsive and an enthusiastic host. He was very proactive in helping us select our trek and very flexible when we added an extra trekker to our group just 1 month before our trek. The trip was expertly planned and we were pleased to have a local Kathmandu contact to help us with every small detail to ensure we were prepared for our trek with any equipment needs, transfers from and to the airport, hotel bookings in Kathmandu prior to and after our completion, and even taking us to a bar for a nice local club. Giri helped ensure one of our trekkers returned safely and was well taken care of after having to cut the trek short. NMA was a first rate travel agency and very well priced tour that met all our needs. We even added a custom mini-tour to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park at the completion of our 3-high pass plus Everest Base Camp trek that was expertly coordinated and gave us plenty of freedom while still maintaining a busy itinerary. Would definitely use Nepal Mountain Adventures for any return visit to Nepal!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and wonderful review of your experience with Nepal Mountain Adventure. We are truly delighted to know that your Everest Base Camp Trek with Three High Passes was well planned, smoothly executed, and met all the expectations of your group. It was our pleasure to assist with every aspect of your journey, from airport transfers and Kathmandu accommodation to equipment preparation and the last-minute addition of another trekker. We’re especially glad that we could support your group when one member needed to return early and ensure they were safe and well taken care of. We’re also happy to hear that you enjoyed extending your adventure with the customized Pokhara and Chitwan National Park tour. We always aim to provide flexibility while making sure every part of the journey is well coordinated. Thank you once again for trusting Nepal Mountain Adventure and for recommending us. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming you and your friends back to Nepal for another unforgettable Himalayan adventure! 🏔️🙏

Exceptional EBC & 3 Passes Trek

We’ve just completed the Everest Base Camp & 3 Passes Trek and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Saroj. There were 3 of us (2 girls and 1 guy) and from the moment we booked through Bimal, everything was seamless. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Saroj went above and beyond every single day, we genuinely didn’t have to lift a finger. He insisted on sorting everything for us, always making sure we were safe, comfortable, fed and prepared. All the equipment we needed was included in the price too: sleeping bags, down jackets, crampons, gaiters, head torches, gloves - everything. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and attentive he was with altitude and acclimatisation. Thanks to his advice and pacing, none of us suffered with altitude sickness throughout the entire trek. At some point we started calling him “Baba” (dad) as a joke because of how much he looked after us… and it quickly became his official title for the rest of the trek. If you’re thinking about doing EBC or the 3 Passes Trek, we genuinely couldn’t recommend Saroj and Bimal enough. An unforgettable experience made even better by having the best guide possible.

Response from the operator: Namaste and warm greetings from Nepal Mountain Adventure! Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We’re truly delighted to hear that you had a great experience with us! Your kind words mean a lot to our entire team, They inspire us to keep delivering unforgettable adventures and heartfelt service. We deeply appreciate your trust and support. It’s always a pleasure to serve amazing guests like you, and we can’t wait to welcome you or your friends and family on another memorable journey in Nepal soon! Lifetime experience of the EBC+3 high passes trek

I came to Kathmandu April without any arrangements. The company listened what I needed and finalised the plan for my at the same day. Then they organised the tickets from Kathmandu to Lukla and the guide. Then they provided a lot of equipment that I wasn’t prepared, as well as drinking bottle and headlight. Got me out of trouble. They also organised the cab to take me to the Kathmandu airport, when I arrived Lukla, the guide was already there to pick me up. During the trip, the guide was experienced and helpful. Pre booked all the accommodation and provided three meals a day. And provided great support for me during the difficult times such as up and down the high passes.they also waited for me more than an hour to pick me up from Kathmandu.Without their help, I don’t think I can achieve what I wanted to do. All the services that they had provided had been nothing but excellent from the beginning to the end. Thank you for helping to make my dream come true. Highly recommend their excellent service. Thanks again Bimal .

14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $1900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek take?

+

Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 135 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek?

+

Around 47 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 14 Days Private Tour Everest Base Camp Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
