This trek begins with an iconic flight into Lukla Airport at 2,860 m. Straight away, you will trek for 3 to 4 hours to reach Phakding. And although that looks like an easy day on paper, this is the Himalayas, and each day has its own challenge! You will trek for approximately 5 hours daily, some days longer at 7 to 8 hours. With alpine forests, villages, fast-flowing glacier rivers, and mountains, each day brings something new to see and marvel at. Some of the trek's highlights included the famous Namche Bazaar—the starting point for numerous expeditions to climb Everest; visiting Tengboche Monastery, the largest one in the region; climbing the Everest viewpoint at Kalapatthar; and, of course, reaching Everest Base Camp itself. The route from Gorakshep to Base Camp and back takes 6 to 7 hours of serious walking over rocky ground formed by glacier debris. All while under the protection of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and more mountains.

Awesome EBC Trek (Tom & Jerry Fun Trek )
Booking through magical Nepal website was a breeze, everything you need is already there. The website is very detailed. I can find all my necessary information there. Reaching out to them via WhatsApp for any pre-trip and they do get back to you very quickly. They have great pickup service to pick you up at airport and bring you to your hotel and the hotel is located very near to their main office in Katmandu. The office looks awesome and the briefing was really informative and very useful and they get everything for you during the briefing as well. On the day to fly to Lukla, there was private transport to pick me up from the hotel to the airport and the stuff was really helpful to help me with all check in, ticketing and the baggage and everything was smooth. When I landed at Lukla, my guide Mingma was already there to pick me up as soon as I exit the aircraft. He was really handsome and funny and we started off in a tea house with the briefing and he was really clear and very informative about what was the plan for the day, I was also joined by our porter Bhupendra, he is young, very strong and have a great smile. He’s a bit shy, but he’s attentive to little details and will help you as long as you need it Mingma is young but a very professional guide. He is well equipped with the knowledge of the trek and the mountains and the stories and he’s really fun and engaging. He will entertain you throughout the whole trek. He was super helpful and will helped you with anything little things that you need, and he’s a very good planner, so whenever he say we will reach by what timing we will definitely reach at that timing accuratly. Mingma is a great photographer too. He helps to take a lot of super awesome photos of the mountains, myself and our group! Bhupendra really a good guy, he pays attention to all my needs and help whenever he can, and he is also very knowledgable about the mountains and the trek and everything else. He will also check on my well being from time to time, making sure I was feeling alright by throughout the trek and stay in the tea houses. I strongly believe he could be a great guide in the future. Overall the trek was tough but manageable. I believe that magical Nepal did a great job in planning the 14 day track so even normal people like me is able to complete the track with no issue at all. I need to thank both Mingma and Bhupendra for making this trip happen, and it was an amazing trip that I will never forget!

Unforgettable adventure
I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I really wanted to share my feedback. The tour was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfectly organized from the very beginning. The team answered all my simple questions before the trip, the airport transfer was included, and we had a very clear briefing about our plans. In Lukla, we met our local guide, Rai. He is a super positive guy with great energy, and he shared a lot of local history with us. During the trek, the weather changed, and we had to adjust our route on the go. But despite the weather, we successfully reached EBC! I also had an incident where I lost my bag with important things. Rai did everything possible to find it, and he actually found it! Huge thanks to him. The atmosphere in our group was very warm, and it was extremely comfortable to spend time with everyone. Also, there was a very sweet and unexpected detail: during the tour, we found out that one of our porters was actually Rai’s father! It was really cool to see them working together. Thank you for this unforgettable trip! Highly recommended!

Scenic and blissful
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Trekking Experience I had an absolutely amazing trekking experience, and I would like to give a special thanks to our guide Sagar Hong Rai and our porters Krishna and Kubir for their excellent work throughout the trek. Sagar was an outstanding guide. He was friendly, responsible, knowledgeable, and always made sure that everyone in the group was safe and comfortable. He guided us professionally, explained everything clearly, and was always there whenever we needed help or support. His positive attitude and friendly nature made the difficult parts of the trek much easier and more enjoyable. A huge thank you also goes to Krishna and Kubir, who worked incredibly hard as our porters. They were always helpful, hardworking, and supportive. Carrying heavy loads through challenging mountain trails is not easy, but they did their job with great dedication and a smile. Their effort played a very important part in making our trek successful. The entire team showed great teamwork, professionalism, and care from the beginning to the end of the trek. Even when the trails were difficult and the weather conditions were challenging, Sagar, Krishna, and Kubir remained supportive and motivated. I truly appreciate all the hard work they put in to make our journey safe, comfortable, and memorable. I would highly recommend Guide Sagar Hong Rai, Porter Krishna, and Porter Kubir to anyone planning a trekking adventure in Nepal. Thank you so much for making this trek such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. 5 stars are absolutely deserved! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect!
Amazing company to use for treking in Nepal!...they are very flexible in understanding and adapting....i had a missed flights- yhap np...was 6h later then expected- someone waiting at the airport anyways to meet and greet me. And all thrue the treck had the best guide ever Sagar Hong Rai - that knows everyone on the trek and knows the place like the back of his hand. Wether...had a bit of rain a bit of snow for 2 days ...and the rest wass amazingg! Supper sunny and great trek

An incredible 14-day Everest Base Camp trek
I’ve just finished an incredible 14-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Magical Nepal, and I couldn’t be happier with how the whole experience went. From the very beginning, Magical Nepal was excellent to deal with. Communication before the trek was always clear and prompt, and they were very helpful with any questions I had in the build-up. Everything was well organised, from the itinerary and logistics to the information provided before setting off, which made the whole process feel very straightforward and stress-free. A huge part of what made the trek so enjoyable was my guide, Mingma. He was a fantastic guide throughout the entire trek and was knowledgeable, experienced and always willing to help. He kept an eye on how I was doing, particularly as we got higher and the trekking became more challenging, and was always there when I needed advice or assistance. He knew the route extremely well and helped make the whole experience feel much more manageable. Mingma also deserves a special mention for his photography and videos. He took some fantastic photos and videos of me throughout the trek, capturing moments that I’ll be able to look back on for years. He knew all the best spots and viewpoints and was always happy to stop and get some really memorable shots along the way. Having those photos and videos is something I really appreciate and will be able to look back on long after the trek. My porter, Bhupendra, was an absolute hero as well. He worked incredibly hard throughout the trek and was always friendly and helpful. During the final push towards Everest Base Camp, when things were getting tougher, he made a real effort to make sure I was okay and that everything was going smoothly. His support during that final section was genuinely appreciated, and I’m very grateful for everything he did throughout the trek. Reaching Everest Base Camp was an amazing feeling, but the whole journey there was what made the experience so special — the scenery, the villages, the mountains, the people and the challenge of gradually making your way higher into the Khumbu. I absolutely loved my time in Nepal and would have no hesitation in recommending Magical Nepal. Everything was well organised, the communication was excellent, and Mingma and Bhupendra were a huge part of making the trip such a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back to Nepal in the future for some summits. This trip has left me wanting to explore even more of the Himalayas, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to Magical Nepal, Mingma and Bhupendra for an unforgettable experience!
