    Absolutely 5 star experience.

The whole experience was 5 stars!!! Destination Consultants / KenyanTanzanian Safaris was just brilliant. Wilson was so professional, flexible, attentive and made the whole process so easy to design and book. I took my wife, 3 kids and 2 parents (70s) and the program that Wilson and Susan designed was purely perfect. Booking from Australia was slightly nerve racking but this team made it perfect. Accommodation, rooms, food, SUV comfort and safety were all above expectations. Thank you to Wilson and Susan for this amazing experience.

An Outstanding, Perfectly Planned Family Safari Experience!

We recently booked our 19-day family trip (just for the 3 of us) through Kenya Tanzania Safari, and working with Wilson and the team was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. They were remarkably receptive to all of our requests, customizing an itinerary that balanced excitement, comfort, and seamless logistics. Flawless accommodation: Every single accommodation they selected for our family was spot-on. A standout mention goes to Enkakenya Camp in the Maasai Mara, which provided a breathtaking riverside location, wonderful hospitality, and incredible wildlife viewing right from our veranda. The choices of lodges and camps throughout the journey were clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a family traveling together. Exceptional Guides: Our guides made the safari truly extraordinary. They were not only deeply knowledgeable about tracking wildlife and finding animals hidden in the bush, but they also took the time to teach us so much about their country, local cultures, and the surrounding ecosystem. Their warm and professional demeanor made us feel safe, welcome, and fully immersed every step of the way. Great Value & Local Expertise: As a locally owned and operated company, Kenya Tanzania Safari offers fair, reasonably priced packages without ever cutting corners on the quality of the experience. Their deep, on-the-ground connections in East Africa shine through in how smoothly everything runs. We cannot recommend booking with them enough and would gladly return for another adventure!

    Trip of a Lifetime

The Destination Consultants Kenya Company is an Excellent Company that I would Definitely recommend without a doubt. Susan and Wilson are very knowledgeable, caring and sincere people to deal with. They are very easy to communicate with and they are very responsive and respectful. They were very helpful and patient in helping us plan a trip of a lifetime. We planned a private family tour and they definitely exceeded our expectations. Our tour Guides, Eliud and Fred were Fantastic, they are very respectful and well informed about the wildlife and their natural habitat throughout the safari tour. I don’t think that you would find better tour guides than Eliud and Fred. Our sincere thanks to Susan, Wilson, Eliud and Fred.

5 star rating is too low!

What an awesome tour. Everything about it was outstanding! Our guides Kevin and Fred were so nice and well informed and also had a good sense of humour. I could go on and on but this is not necessary. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR COMPANY.

    Destination Consultants

This was an incredible journey in Kenya and Tanzania. We traveled through the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli and Ngorongoro Crater. Our guides were amazing. Very knowledgeable, great drivers and showed us so many animals, birds and beautiful landscapes. We were never in a crowd and often the only people viewing the wildlife. Our accommodations were always wonderful with excellent staff, service and cuisine. I would highly recommend Destination Consultants.

12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $5,869 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

Included: Game drives; Bottled water; Medical evacuation; Transport in a private 4x 4 safari Land cruisers; and Lunch. Not included: Optional activities; Laundry services; Beverages; and Tips and gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari include hotel pickup?

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 2 listed pickup locations in and around Nairobi.

What languages is 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari offered in?
