Highly experienced and professional
Travelling in Mongolia is an unforgettable experience. Dashka and his team made the experience even more unforgettable. They are highly experienced tour operators who organised everything in an excellent way, even though there was a major challenge regarding fuel shortage in Mongolia at the time of travel. Payment conditions are flexible, so there are no currency issues (e.g. I could pay in cash Swiss Francs). During the trip they were very thoughtful about how to make their customers feel safe and taken care of. They are flexible in that they adapt to the capabilities of the group and everyone feels satisfied even though strength level differences were there and some got sick. The food was fantastic, the gear (bikes and tents) of high quality and the roads bumpy 😅. In summary: Mongolia Biking is a highly professional organization and I can only warmly recommend them.

Mongolia MTB wilderness tour.
We had a super great trip with Mongolia biking. Saw heaps of really cool country both on the Steppe and in the mountains. Endless wild animals and Yurts (Gers). The guides were, awesome food was even better, good mtb bikes, can highly recommend.

Unforgettable cycling adventure through the heart of Mongolia!
I recently wrapped up a biking tour through the stunning Orkhon Valley, and it exceeded every expectation. Riding across the open steppe, rolling volcanic landscapes, and river valleys was hands-down one of the most rewarding travel experiences I’ve ever had. What made this trip exceptional: Flawless Organization: Everything from bike maintenance and gear support to route selection was handled seamlessly. The support vehicle was always nearby when needed. Incredible Landscapes: pedaling past herds of horses, ancient lava fields, and rolling green hills felt unreal. The scenery in the Orkhon Valley changes every few kilometers. Cultural Experience: Staying in authentic ger camps and meeting local nomadic families added a rich cultural depth that made this so much more than just a bike ride. Top-tier Staff: The guides and support team were professional, knowledgeable, and amazingly hospitable. The food prepared at camp was surprisingly delicious and hearty after long days in the saddle. Advice for future travelers: Make sure you bring good padded shorts and layers for changing weather, but don't hesitate for a second to book this trip. Thank you to the entire crew for making this an absolute trip of a lifetime. I can't recommend this tour highly enough!

Amazing trip, scenery, organization, everything - do it!
I went alone and joined a group of 10 (from Australia, Taiwan, Belgium, UK), and we rode through outstanding scenery. Everything was perfect, including: - Prompt communication before the trip - 2 nights in hotel, 2 in tourist ger, 6 in spacious Northface tents - Portable western toilet in a tent, cleaner than a public toilet at home! - Supported by 8 local staff (3 guides/mechanics, 2 cooks, 3 drivers) - All the staff were great. 2 guides spoke English, friendly & laid-back yet super-strong and multi-talented - Our young mechanic was a top Mongolian road racer. Like having your bike cleaned & serviced by Tadej Podjacar. - Mongolian landscapes far exceeded my expectations. - And oh, the food. Three tasty cooked meals/day plus endless snacks and drinks. - Flexibility: the guides tailored the route/climbs/distances to match the strength of the group. I would not hesitate to go with Cycling Mongolia again.
Response from the operator: Thank you!

What a once-in-a-lifetime wilderness experience! Stunning landscape, very few people but loads of horses, goats, sheep, yaks and cows. Great bikes, great food, and most of all GREAT Mongolian crew! I highly recommend this tour.

11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ulaanbaatar.
How much does 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $2,935 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ulaanbaatar usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour take?
+
Plan for about 264 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ulaanbaatar is not rushed.
Is 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Ulaanbaatar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 264-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ulaanbaatar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ulaanbaatar and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ulaanbaatar within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ulaanbaatar?
+
On Outty we rank every Ulaanbaatar experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include BEST 5* Chinggis Khaan Airport UBN Ulaanbaatar Transfer Taxi 24/7, A day trip to Terelj National Park and Statue of Chinggis Khan, Genghis Khan Statue+Terelj Park+CamelRide+Eagle. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ulaanbaatar?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ulaanbaatar?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
