Book for epic photos!

Alex was absolutely wonderful and a true professional from start to finish. His photos were of extremely high quality. I always do a photoshoot if I am solo travelling and out of all that I have done, this has by far been the best. Alex was incredibly kind, helpful and professional. He made sure all my things were kept safe during the shoot and showed me some beautiful areas of Notting Hill (as well as some delicious restaurant recommendations). Thank you so much Alex!

Subpar - Very Disappointing Experience

This was a very disappointing experience. Alex was consistently slow to respond and despite the bookings being made with him directly, he did not show up for the sessions himself. Instead, he sent an assistant whose work was below the standard I expected. I had several other options available but decided to work with Alex and I regret this decision. The quality of the photographs was extremely poor. The lighting was not properly handled, the image quality was subpar, and the pictures were of a quality that could have been achieved more effectively with a phone. The turnaround time was also much longer than expected. Alex became unresponsive to messages once the complaint was made. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Alex to anyone looking for reliable and professional photography services.

Terrible & dangerous experience

I have done a number of photoshoots over the year, and this is the worst experience I've ever had with a photographer. Alex was not personable or directing; he actually made me feel very uncomfortable the whole time...and he coordinated to have an "assistant" (Shao Kui Huang - Hi) attempt to rob me once the shoot began. We were at the London St. Pancras, as I wanted to shoot on the famous Spice Girls stairs, and Alex took me up a couple of flights of stairs. We began shooting on the first flight of stairs and Alex had me move to the second. Once on the second, I saw his assistant from my peripheral viewpoint with one hand on my personal cell phone and another in a compartment of my fanny pack. I immediately stopped the shoot and addressed him, asking him what he was doing. Shao said "I should have asked first; I was putting your phone away because it was out." My phone was not left out of my fanny pack, however. Alex did not say anything to trouble shoot or alleviate the situation; it seemed he did not care or see a problem with it. I obviously was appalled by this behavior, but after checking all of my belongings, I attempted to continue to take photos on the stairs, though I felt terrified and uneasy. I kept my composure, but as we were exiting the hotel, I called security over to notify them and to have them run the cameras. Please be aware: Alex and his assistant take people to areas where cameras do not have full visibility. Please do not take the chance of risking your safety, finances, or identity by scheduling to shoot with these people. Additionally, afterwards, I asked if I could have my photos taken and solely be charged for the one location (we agreed upon £30 for that location previously). Alex and Shao "ghosted" me, which is highly unprofessional and showed they do not care about providing quality service. I contacted viator to both report & escalate this as a safety concern and to have them intervene. Alex said I could have the photos for the full booking price (though I did not get a full shoot with multiple locations as promised) or be refunded and not receive my photos. I actually found another reputable photographer to take my photos before leaving London, so I requested a full refund. Beware of these people...Shao indicates he lives at the London hostel, for reference. This was the only bad experience I had while in London from the states. It's a shame neither of these people are from London, but they are tainting the reputation for that area and photographers within it.

Response from the operator: We take this matter very seriously. I have been working as a professional photographer for over six years, and I have never experienced a situation like this. We care deeply about both the quality of our work and our integrity. During the session, my assistant was cleaning equipment near the client’s belongings. He also briefly moved her phone into her bag to prevent potential theft, as pickpocketing is unfortunately common in London. There was absolutely no intention to interfere with or access any personal items. Despite this, the client repeatedly accused us of theft without any evidence. Even after confirming that nothing was missing, the accusations escalated to claims that we had taken photos of her personal documents or credit cards, which is entirely untrue and extremely serious. Hotel staff were called to the scene, and they simply asked whether anything was missing. Nothing was. This should have clarified the situation. It is both surprising and concerning that such accusations can be made so freely without any factual basis. We do not engage in any illegal or unethical behavior, and we stand firmly by our professionalism. Additionally, the client arrived 15 minutes late, and a significant portion of the session time was consumed by these interruptions. Despite this, she requested to continue shooting, which was no longer appropriate given the circumstances. Following the session, she requested both a refund and continued services, which is inconsistent. We directed her to proceed through the platform, as this is the proper channel for resolution. We stand by our work, our conduct, and our professional standards.

Lexi done a AMAZING job....

Lexi done a AMAZING job. She was a trooper getting our pictures done in the rain. She helped get hair in the right spot, make sure there were no dress malfunctions AND kept our belongings safe. Perfect multitasker and amazing photographer. 100% recommend doing a photoshoot.

1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot cost?

+

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 1-Hour Fun iconic London Photoshoot start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
