Nomadic day trip

A highlight of my trip to Mongolia
Very cool experience. I booked this tour bc I was interested in bokh wrestling. The horse racing, archery and folk dancing was also fun to watch. I came expecting to just be a spectator but they let visitors participate in some of the activities which made it worth it. It was a small event so it was easy to see the performers up close and get good pictures and videos. Driver and guide are friendly and knowledgeable as well. They pick up/drop off where you’re staying and will take your photo participating in the activities.
Response from the operator: Dear Quentin Pascual, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re very happy to know that you had a great time and enjoyed the day with our team. It was a pleasure to have you on the tour, and we’re glad we could make the experience enjoyable and memorable for you. We really appreciate your kind words about our guide and driver as well. Your feedback means a lot to our team and encourages us to keep creating enjoyable experiences for our guests. We hope you had many more wonderful moments during your time in Mongolia, and we would be very happy to welcome you back again in the future! 😊

Excellent activity,...
Excellent activity, very attentive and professional staff. Good introduction to some traditional Mongolian sports and activities. This took place at the Mongolian Nomadic Tourist Camp with a splendid view. There was also the opportunity to try several activities like wrestling (bökh) and archery.
Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour ce chaleureux commentaire !

Amazing day out
We had a great day and our guide Oyuka was wonderful, so chatty, kind and knowledgable! Our driver was very sweet and got us to our location very fast. I would highly recommend this event as we saw horse riding, wrestling , archery and the competitors were so gracious and let us join in on some games.

Oyuka will be over the moon to hear your compliments about her warmth and knowledge, and we’ll definitely pass your thanks to your driver for the smooth. It's wonderful that you enjoyed the horse riding, wrestling, and archery. Thank you for the high recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ulaanbaatar.
How much does 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ulaanbaatar usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ulaanbaatar is not rushed.
Is 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ulaanbaatar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ulaanbaatar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ulaanbaatar and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ulaanbaatar within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ulaanbaatar?
+
On Outty we rank every Ulaanbaatar experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include BEST 5* Chinggis Khaan Airport UBN Ulaanbaatar Transfer Taxi 24/7, A day trip to Terelj National Park and Statue of Chinggis Khan, Genghis Khan Statue+Terelj Park+CamelRide+Eagle. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ulaanbaatar?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ulaanbaatar?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience?
+
Included: Private transportation; English-speaking tour guide; Bottled water; and All Fees and Taxes. Not included: Meals; International travel insurance; Additional entertainment or personal expenses; and Alcoholic drinks, soda, and specialty coffee. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 12 listed pickup locations in and around Ulaanbaatar. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is 1 Day -Nomad Naadam Experience offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
