Book with Sieng Today!

I cannot say enough good things about Sieng Keo and his abilities as a guide. I am an old guy and this tour of multiple temples can be a real killer on my old back. Sieng not only accommodated my need for breaks, he encouraged me to take more breaks. We had lunch together and I very much enjoyed his company, not only as a tour guide. Sieng's knowledge of the temple complex was extensive and detailed, and he answered every question I had. His explanations of the extraordinary carving work at Angkor Wat and the other temples showed a deep understanding, and a love for the history and culture of his home country. You could tell he was proud of his heritage. The pickup in the morning (bloody early, at my request), was flawless, and our driver (a hotel employee) was perfect throughout the visit. I climbed all over hell and back on those stairs and don't regret a moment of my visit. By noon, I was completely out of gas (we'd been at it seven hours) and he took me back to the hotel, after helping me look at some jewellery to take home as a gift (which, ultimately, I decided not to buy). Our lunch together was a great experience. Ask him about the work he does to support the people in his village! There are a lot of people where he lives who need support (widows, orphans, elderly with no families). I, for one, will be sending some money when I get back to the states. I hope you. consider doing so too. Ask Sieng to show you the pictures of his village, and you will want to help too. (Sieng did NOT ask me for help, I asked him a lot of questions and, eventually and reluctantly, he opened up about his work for those in need in his village. You absolutely should book with this company and be a part of the solution. 10 of 10 rating.

Absolutely fantastic tour with Priam

I can’t speak highly enough of Priam and this fantastic tour! We were picked up in a very nice air-conditioned car, Priam was incredibly informative about all the history of the temples, kings, and the surrounding areas. I asked a lot of questions! He knew all the best spots for photos too! Priam has a very kind and calm demeanour and happy to be flexible around what we wanted to do with our five-year-old daughter. He filled us in on the history of his family as well when we asked which was also interesting to learn about the more recent history of Cambodia in the area, and what it was like growing up through the civil war for him and his family. Don’t hesitate to do this tour it’s an absolute MUST do here.

1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 94 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour?

+

Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 1 Day Discover Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
