The timing was appropriate for the place to be able to tour it, the guide occasionally spoke in Spanish which helped the experience even more.

Do it!
It was a great trip despite some small hiccups. Rain delayed the bus in the morning and then the driver hopped a curb and popped a tire after the first city. This American guy named Matt on board saved the day by knowing how to change a bus tire otherwise we would have had to wait 3 hours for a crew to come from Geneva. Other than that though all these little mountain towns are gorgeous and the tour guide has some good jokes!
