Excellent Service
Excellent service. Good teams. We rent snowboards for myself and my wife, rent the complete equipment for my 5-year-old son. All wonderful.

Beginner Snowboard Lessons – Mixed Experience
We did a full-day beginner snowboard lesson on our first day with Daan, and it was fantastic. He was patient, clear, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I’d absolutely recommend this lesson to anyone trying snowboarding for the first time. For our second day, we were advised to book a private lesson, and were told someone would pick us up. It sounded like the best next step, but unfortunately it ended up being our only regret of the trip. It was expensive and, in our experience, not worth the money. We expected a proper hotel pickup, but the instructor actually arrived by local bus. We then had to wait for the next bus ourselves to get to the lesson. There was also a language barrier, which meant we didn’t get much value out of the session and didn’t progress the way we’d hoped. My takeaway would be: read the reviews carefully, make sure you book your private lesson with the right instructor, and confirm exactly what “pickup” means beforehand.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear your first day with Daan went so well and that you enjoyed the lesson. Sorry to hear the private lesson didn’t meet your expectations, that sounds frustrating. Your tips about reading reviews carefully and clarifying what pickup means are really helpful for future guests. We really appreciate you taking the time to give such detailed feedback!

教練歧視亞洲人!區別對待!態度極差!
My experience with skiing was quite disappointing, primarily because of the behavior of my male coach. Instead of providing encouraging guidance, he often came across as rude and impolite. His dismissive comments made it difficult for me to feel comfortable asking questions or seeking help. This negative atmosphere not only impacted my confidence but also made the entire learning process much less enjoyable. I had hoped for a supportive environment, but unfortunately, the coach's attitude overshadowed the excitement of learning to ski. I observed that my coach displayed discriminatory behavior towards Asian participants, which was deeply troubling. His remarks and actions often felt biased, creating an uncomfortable environment for those of us from Asian backgrounds. It was disheartening to see such attitude in a place meant for learning and growth. Instead of fostering inclusivity, he contributed to a sense of division, making it difficult for many of us to feel accepted and valued in the group.
Response from the operator: We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Our company is committed to providing a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests. The behavior you described is concerning, and we stand by our instructors who are dedicated to supporting all learners. We take your concerns seriously and will investigate further. Please contact us directly so we can address this matter.

Great experience but must note that no place to stay other than a restaurant!
There were not enough bookings on my original date, but OUTDOOR let me change the date and join another group! The experience was great— our coach was amazingly patient, only 6 ppl in the group, and weather was great as well. However, although the company suggested me to bring my own meal, there’s no place to stay aside from the restaurant right beside the snowboarding place. Thus, I bought a cup of coffee and stayed at their table outside to eat my own food. Coffee was nice but it was a freezing meal experience haha.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for being with us! It's great that you were able to have a good experience despite the cold! ✨

The experience was great. The instructor, Julien was very patient and taught us at our own pace. He was friendly and approachable too. Would highly recommend this for those beginners looking to learn how to snowboard!

1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Interlaken.
How much does 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald cost?
+
Prices start at $247 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Interlaken usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Interlaken is not rushed.
Is 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Interlaken, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Interlaken can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Interlaken and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 1-Day Beginner Snowboard Package in Grindelwald start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Interlaken within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Interlaken?
+
On Outty we rank every Interlaken experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tandem Paragliding Experience from Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Trummelbach Waterfalls E-bike Tour Swiss Picnic, Mürren: Paragliding over the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Interlaken?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Interlaken?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
