Iconic hike lives up to its reputation
Really outstanding hike and excellent guide, Jackie. She knew the river and the hike. WE got a reasonably early start (8am) before the crowds really built up. She moved at the right pace allowing us to cover a lot of trail (river) and had great knowledge on the natural history and historical background of the river and area. This is one of the very few "iconic" hikes I'd definitely do , with this outfitter and guide for sure.

Our guide Austin was such...
Our guide Austin was such a great guy man. Leaving early in the morning it’s probably the best idea, there are not too many people there at that time, you can easily walk through and take great photos. I recommend getting a guide, because our guy knew so much about the area. Don’t think about the money when you book the trip, it’s worth it.
Response from the operator: Valentin! Thank you for such an awesome review of your experience! We're pretty lucky to have Austin on our team. Please share your trip on your socials, tag us and find us when you come back to the area!

June was a wonderful host and guide. She connected with us via phone call the afternoon before our hike so we knew what to expect and where and when to meet up in the morning. Fantastic hike!! We met June at 6:30am and headed out as soon as our small group was present. What a game changer!! Go early!!! Beat the crowds for the most part. Rent to Shoes, socks and sticks!!! They will make the experience so much more comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!

The Narrows in Zion National Park, Utah is a very nice place to experience for ALL the people that loves to see and experience the nature’s creation. It’s really a great place to go and the breathtaking views you can see in every corners and bends, eye-level and above. It’s AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! Our guide, June, was a great individual/person. She have full of knowledge about the place and guided us to every ‘step’ along the way. My wife had a phobia in crossing rivers but she conquered it. It was a great date, experience, added to the memories, to celebrate our 30th Year Anniversary.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zion National Park.
How much does Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $375 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zion National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zion National Park is not rushed.
Is Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Zion National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zion National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zion National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zion National Park Famous Narrows Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zion National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zion National Park?
+
Zion trips centre on the Narrows and Angels Landing, canyoneering in slot canyons, e-bike rides along the scenic drive and Bryce Canyon combination days. Permit handling and gear rental inclusions are the biggest quality differences here. On Outty we rank every Zion National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Award Winning UTV Slot Canyon Tour, East Zion 4 Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour, East Zion Crimson Canyon Hike & UTV Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zion National Park?
+
April to May and September to October. Summer means early starts. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zion National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
