Great overview of Zion and its history!

Our guide, June, had extraordinary knowledge of the area and its history, being a multi-generational descendant of pioneers. She had numerous suggestions of potential activities, which she used to weave an itinerary that matched our interests.

Strong and empowering female hip camp and hike guides 💪🏼

I booked our stay at Land Beyond Zion as well as a guided hike to Angels Landing with one of Shanti’s amazing guides Lydia. It was myself, a friend and my sister in law. The hip camp was amazing and perfect and everything I could have asked for between the vibes, amenities, just enough glamp and just enough camp, and Shanti is just a gem of a human. Lydia took us up to Angels Landing on Saturday and another woman joined our group and it was incredible. She was patient and thoughtful and shared history of the region. I felt like I was hiking with an old friend. We liked her so much we took her out to lunch and beers after our accomplishment and she even showed us a spot on the way back that wasn’t planned which we appreciated so much. Truly enjoyed the stay and the guided hike, especially for my fellow females, this is the group you want to go with. I cannot wait to go back and stay and hike with these empowering and strong women again!! And if we’re lucky, enjoy Lydia’s incredible cooking! Shanti has really pulled together a solid and diverse group of women to lead you on these hikes and host you at the campground. Really could not ask for a better experience.

Response from the operator: I love that we can share this review with Lydia! It will make her feel so good. She's such an incredible guide and a kind soul and so talented! We are lucky to have her as part of our team.

    Secret hike spots in Zion!

Shanti has so much insite into all the secret places in and near Zion. She took us to some amazing caves to see incredible cave paintings, we walked through a sage valley to some rocks where the kids could climb. It was wonderful, and really off the beaten path, you would never be able to find this on your own. She also took us for a nice swim in the river where the kids got to see frogs and kayak a little bit. I highly reccomend thShanti and her team! Will definitely go back!!

    Fantastic!!

Shanti was great at helping my wife and I planning activities during our weekend visit to Zion, she even was able to secure permits for the Angels Landing for us!! Our guide Megan was wonderful, she was attentive and made sure all of us were comfortable throughout the tour. We will absolutely contact Shanti on our next trip back to Zion.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zion National Park.

How much does Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More! cost?

    +

Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zion National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More! take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zion National Park is not rushed.

Is Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More! worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Zion National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More!?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More! suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More!?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zion National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zion National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Zion National Park Petroglyphs, Dino tracks and More! start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zion National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zion National Park?

    +

Zion trips centre on the Narrows and Angels Landing, canyoneering in slot canyons, e-bike rides along the scenic drive and Bryce Canyon combination days. Permit handling and gear rental inclusions are the biggest quality differences here. On Outty we rank every Zion National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Award Winning UTV Slot Canyon Tour, East Zion 4 Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour, East Zion Crimson Canyon Hike & UTV Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zion National Park?

    +

April to May and September to October. Summer means early starts. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zion National Park?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
