I wouldn’t Recommend going
Before I finish my review: If you experienced similar issues involving sanitation, water quality, unsafe conditions, Unfaithful billing practices or any other concerns about your visit, I encourage you to make a report through the appropriate channels such as: * Washington County Health Department — for sanitation, water quality, and public health concerns. * Utah Division of Consumer Protection — for concerns about misleading business practices or services not matching what was advertised. * Better Business Bureau (BBB) — to create a record of your customer experience and request a response from the business. You are not alone, Your voice matters; No matter how much this company wants to make you feel otherwise. Leave a review and report your story to the correct agencies. My review: We arrived at Zion Canyon Hot Springs around 8:20 PM and were charged $180. We were told this was a “discounted” price, but the amount appeared to be the full admission price. Because one member of our group was six months below the age requirement for certain areas, we were limited to only one pool and three tubs. Unfortunately, the condition of the facility was extremely disappointing. Several pools appeared to have significant algae buildup, some areas had green residue that appeared to be bird waste, and the entire facility had a strong unpleasant odor. Multiple pools had visible particles floating on the surface, making it seem like the water was not being properly filtered or maintained. The sauna was also not functioning as expected; it took around 20 minutes before there was even noticeable heat or sweating. The water itself smelled bad and appeared dirty, which made it difficult to feel comfortable using the facilities. For the price we paid, the experience did not come close to meeting expectations. The customer service made the experience even worse. The staff member who handled our check-in and refund request was dismissive and sarcastic, speaking as if we were the problem. I want to be clear that I approached the situation respectfully. I was friendly, made jokes, laughed, and tried to keep the interaction positive, but I received rude and unhelpful responses in return. After only about 40 minutes, I decided to leave and requested a partial refund. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was told that it was my responsibility to check reviews and understand expectations, and that whether someone stayed 18 minutes or three hours did not matter. Overall, my concerns are the poor water quality, lack of maintenance, overcrowded areas, equipment that did not appear to function properly, and the dismissive customer service. For the price, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had in the area. If you have similar concerns about sanitation, water quality, or facility conditions, consider reporting them to the Washington County Health Department or Utah Division of Consumer Protection so they can review whether there are ongoing issues.

Spas Galore!!!!
The pools and saunas were amazing! The servers on the 21+ side were great. The frozen drinks were perfect on a hot summer day.

Very excited this is here!
The hot springs is beautiful and so relaxing. It was blazing hot the day we went, but we got a smoothie and a piña colada and they were amazing. Beckham who made our drinks was very friendly and helpful. Overall we will definitely come back…just maybe when it’s not so hot or later in the day. Very impressed with the whole facility and excited to have this as an option when family comes to from out of town.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zion National Park.
How much does Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $77 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zion National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zion National Park is not rushed.
Is Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 114 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zion National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience?
+
Around 40 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zion National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zion National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zion Canyon Hot Springs Soak Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zion National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zion National Park?
+
Zion trips centre on the Narrows and Angels Landing, canyoneering in slot canyons, e-bike rides along the scenic drive and Bryce Canyon combination days. Permit handling and gear rental inclusions are the biggest quality differences here. On Outty we rank every Zion National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Award Winning UTV Slot Canyon Tour, East Zion 4 Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour, East Zion Crimson Canyon Hike & UTV Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zion National Park?
+
April to May and September to October. Summer means early starts. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zion National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
