    Poor planning, save by Guide

Planning was poor, trip was good because of good guide and driver Mr Kenny Chen save our days. Planning was confusing, the program provided all the details, but, not necessary our itinerary . The itineraries were changed without my knowledge /agreement and different from the listing. Till the end of the trip , I was not given the revised itinerary. This is a positive feedback that, admin staff must communicate with the customer and send the updated itineraries for different pick up point, or due to weather conditions or booking constraints. The title “ Wave” is impossible to visit without ballot.

    Not up to my expectations

Got to see many national parks. Was driven to correct locations, and was given instruction on where to go. However, DO NOT expect what is on itinerary. There were multiple things such as wave of coyote butte, hot springs, wave of coral pink sand dunes we never got to see it. The most amazing experience we never got to do was the plane ride cassena. We were not even told why it was never offered to us. When we didn't win the wave of coyote butte lottery we requested Grand Canyon and that was accommodated. Thanks to that. The first day the prehistoric museum was something in the itinerary and that was not in the guide's itinerary. We reminded that the itinerary has that and then we were taken there. The first day the accomodation was suppose to be at Capitol Reef resort or something similar. Even though there were rooms available at Capitol Reef that day they booked us at Broken Spur Inn & Steakhouse. It can't be compared to capitol Reef resort.

Response from the operator: Dear janakikartik, Thank you for your review. We value your feedback and are sorry to hear that your tour experience was unsatisfactory.  And we really appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. Firstly, regarding to visit of wave of coyote, in order to protect the natural wonders, the US Bureau of Land Management allows only 20 people entrances each day. In this case, every individual enter into the wave of coyote must win the permit lottery. This permit is required to visit the Coyote Buttes permit area, which features“The Wave.”Unfortunrtly, I'm sorry that we can't visit wave of coyote because non of you win the lottery during your stay. We aim to provide excellent service to our customers at all times, and that's why we trying our best to adjust according to the actual situation happen during the tours. Secondly, refer to hot spring experience, we did make the booking with Mystics hot spring and the administration fee is non-refundable. Base on the information we know so far, due to mother and son disagreed with each other and want to spend more time in Zion, so did not visit Mystics hot spring even though we have made the booking. In addition, plane ride was offered but tour guide will not be board on the plane, and guest gave up on the plane ride. Instead of visit Pink sand dunes but we did visit north rim Grand Canyon. Besides, as we mentioned in the itinerary, Capitol Reef resort or something similar. We will book the accomodation according to the actual situation, but cannot be guaranteed Capitol Reef resort. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us and offering us the opportunity to improve our service. I will be scheduling a meeting and offer more training with the team member you dealt with to remind them of our customer service practices that we value so greatly here at Nomadua. We value your business and hope to provide better services and experience to you in the future. Sincerely, Nomadua team.

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salt Lake City and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

Salt Lake City is a basecamp: Big and Little Cottonwood canyon hikes and ski shuttles, Antelope Island and Great Salt Lake trips, Park City transfers and Temple Square walking tours. Winter transfer reliability is the single biggest quality signal here. On Outty we rank every Salt Lake City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Salt Lake City Guided Bus Tour, Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square & Salt Lake City Bus Tour, Great Salt Lake Safari - Discover Antelope Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salt Lake City?

    +

December to March for skiing, June to September for canyon hiking. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salt Lake City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
