Plakaki Beach
Our final destination is the stunning Blue Lagoon at Plakaki on the West Coast of Zakynthos — a rugged, dramatic stretch of coastline known for its crystal-clear, intensely blue waters and wild beauty. Unlike the more tourist-heavy beaches Plakaki is remote, peaceful, and unspoiled, making it perfect for travelers seeking natural beauty and solitude. The water is a mesmerizing shade of turquoise and cobalt blue, thanks to the white limestone seabed the colors look surreal — almost glowing. There’s no organized beach, no bars or umbrellas, just raw nature. You’ll often have the area nearly to yourself. Here we will stop for a 30-40 min swim stop.

5-hour private boat trip
My husband and I booked the complete 5-hour private boat tour with Laura from Calypso Boat. When we arrived at the port at the scheduled time for our departure, our captain Maki was exceptional in maneuvering, super friendly, and even took some beautiful photos of us while sailing! The places we visited are truly surreal! Thank you, Laura and Maki, for your kindness and professionalism! 💙🩵🤍

Great experience!
Would definitely recommend! Well organized team, clean and nice boat and friendly staff! We started 9am in the morning and it was not crowded at all. We saw many turtles and the caves were nice too! 2 kids (1,5 and 3 years) enjoyed it too!

No Captain, No Here
I gave 5 stars just because there are no options to give more... Calypso exceeded any possible expectations. The boats are clean and renovated, the personnel is really ponctual, and they really mean what they say when putting the name of the cruise "hidden gem". Laura, which is the commander there, is very kind, supportive and professional. The easiest way to reach them is by whatsapp but feel free to call, they will answer. The best part for sure was the skipper. Makis (sorry if I mistaken your name, my brother) is a real tv series character. He drives since he was 9, so not only is skilfull but also knows every centimeter of the sea. You are going to talk 50% greek 20% italian em 30% english with him, which makes the trip so fun. Relax, because the main instructions and words in english he fully comprehends. He takes you to places that other skippers don't, and this fact is visible. There was a phrase many times said "no captain, no here", hahahah. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! Will be back in Zak and for sure will cruise again with Laura, Makis and team. Cheers from Brazil! Private family boat tour in paradise
Our family of four did the private 3 hour tour of turtle watching and a stop to an island beach for swimming and snorkelling. It was amazing. We saw the turtles and had a lovely morning on a secluded beach. The small tour is much better than the huge overcrowded boats. And we started at 9am before it’s too busy and too hot! Our captain was friendly and it was just an impeccable and seamless tour.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zakynthos.
How much does Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5) cost?
+
Prices start at $519 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zakynthos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5) take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zakynthos is not rushed.
Is Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Zakynthos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5)?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zakynthos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zakynthos and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zante Private Boat: Marathonisi, Caves, Myzithres, Agalas (max5) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zakynthos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zakynthos?
+
On Outty we rank every Zakynthos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Greek Cooking Class of Zakynthian Culture with Lunch, Zakynthos Turtle Tour Small Group Turtle Spotting & Turtle Island, Zakynthos : One day small group tour to Navagio beach Blue Caves & top view. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zakynthos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zakynthos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
