Need to forget work stress? This is all you need!

We had the best and most relaxing day. We had seen the weather was due to be rainy on our first day so booked this class. We booked early as we knew that you need 3 days for your pottery to be fired and glazed ready for collection. The welcome was great, table all set up for the various groups with all our equipment under a covered outside space. Water bottles were provided as we arrived too. We were guided through the process of making a turtle. Step by step with an explanation of why and how to sculpt the clay was important. I have used clay previously but still learnt, my husband hadn't used clay before and would say he is not creative! However as a fantastic brain focusing activity it started his de-tox from work stress amazingly. After our turtles were made we were left to decorate and make personal by adding extra creations. We then put our turtles out in the sun to start hardening. Coffee, teas were made and fruit offered. We then were shown how to start our next pieces using a form and left to create at will. Finally we added glazes to colour both pieces before leaving them to our hosts. We had a fantastic time and were really pleased with our final pieces when we collected them a few days later. They were wrapped well to allow for safe journey home. I would highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys or needs some down time to kick off a relaxing holiday.

    First class experience

This was such a fun addition to our vacation. The location of the house is beautiful and peaceful. Our host went above and beyond with the pottery experience and hospitality. You get to make two pieces that you can take home, making it a great souvenir and not the standard stuff you find in every tourist shop. The owner makes amazing pieces that you can purchase as well. We each bought a few when we went back to pick up our pottery. She packaged them up nicely for us so that we could get them home in one piece. She even offered us a ride back to our hotel to save us taxi fare. She was beyond pleasant with great island history to share as her father owned/ farmed olive trees. Overall we walked away with a memorable experience and souvenir. I would recommend this activity to everyone visiting the island!

    Unique experience in Zakynthos

We had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend booking this during your visit to zakynthos. We learned about the traditional techniques of ceramic making and created two beautiful pieces each. It was very hands on and we learned techniques we can use again. We appreciate the love that our instructor put into the class.

    Whimsical experience

Highlight of the trip! Dyonisia is kind, knowledgeable, and takes extra care to make sure the creations survive the firing process. Stunning location, her shop is like a gallery itself- got some unique and beautiful pieces from there. Can't recommend enough!

How much does Ceramic Making Experience in Zakynthos cost?

    +

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 343 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Zakynthos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. +

Around 120 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zakynthos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zakynthos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
