Wonderful tour and amazing guide
This was such a great trip, better than expected. Ljubljana was such a cute city, really nice to walk around, lovely streets and buildings. It was really cool visiting the chocolate cafe/factory - oh my gosh, so many amazing and new flavors! Could have easily spent more time and money there! Lake Bled was just beautiful! Bring your bathing suit so you can take a swim and the amazing clear water! We loved the trip and our guide Sara was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable about the history of both Croatia and Slovenia and shared lots of insightful information with us. She was super friendly, always on time, helpful and polite. Would love to do another tour with her. Best wishes from Norway

EXCELLENT EXCURSION IN SLOVENIA
Hello, Took this tour from Zagreb into Slovenia. Nice van, air conditioned and above all driven by a professional gentleman, who went out of his way to fully make the tour as comfortable as can be. He drove safely into Lake Bled, was kind enough to detail us with the history of Bled...took us up to the castle and gave us time to wander about. In the afternoon we proceeded to Ljubljana and the Chocolate Experience, Such a lovely city and his explanations were very to the point. Returned back to Zagreb after a full day. It will remain as a beautiful memory indeed !!

Ljubljana Old Town and...
Ljubljana Old Town and Lake Bled are absolutely stunning and well worth the trip from Zagreb. Wandering through the historic streets of Ljubljana was a highlight of this journey. While the sights were incredible, the transit experience could definitely be improved. I was in a 7-passenger van, and the tour guide did not use a microphone or speakerphone. As a result, anyone sitting in the back row could barely hear the history and stories the guide shared along the way.

Zagreb-Lake Bled-Lubljana
Top rated tour from pick up to drop off overall a great experience. Tour guide Steve was very knowledgeable and was genuinely a really nice fella, always on hand to answer questions Lake Bled was an amazing place the lakeside was a beautiful walk and the castle was a sight to behold, great photo opportunities everywhere, only bad point to our trip was the weather, overcast and some rain but don’t let that take away the beauty of the place. On to Lubljana WOW another stunning place with more photo opportunities on every corner. Plenty of places to eat and drink and all reasonably prices, a must do while there is a visit to the castle, either walk up (steep) or if you can’t then the Funicular is there as well definitely a must do.

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zagreb.
How much does Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zagreb usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zagreb is not rushed.
Is Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zagreb, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zagreb can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zagreb and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zagreb: Bled & Ljubljana Day Tour with Chocolate Gift start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zagreb within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zagreb?
+
On Outty we rank every Zagreb experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Communism & Croatian Homeland War Tour, Zagreb Highlights: Old Town, WWII tunnels, Funicular & Tastings, Old Zagreb Private Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zagreb?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zagreb?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
