In the late 1890s, thousands of prospectors sailed through Bove Island's waterways here on their way to the Klondike in makeshift boats that they built on the shores of Bennett Lake. Great tour of the Yukon
David did a great job as our tour guide. We were with him all day, only the two of us. He was very smart and had a good of humor. He showed us amazing things on the way up and back down again. He did a really great job.

In my imagination, it was great!
Driver (Jeanine) was a no show, no communication either. We waited in pickup area 45min. This was one of the few wheelchair accessible excursions available which makes it even more disappointing.

It was a Beary good trip
It was a lovely drive. I was a small group, just a family of four and two couples. The guide, Laura, was very personable, made the correct number of stops for great photos, and was a gracious photographer. We saw a record number of bears, seven along the way. Carcross is a quaint little town at the end of the tour. The Carcross Desert's sand dunes were surprising in such an unusual location.

Laura, Our guide, was informative and made this trip so enjoyable! We only had 6 adults so the small size was very comfortable in the van.

A Nice Afternoon BUT What Happened to the Promised Food & Water?
We loved our guide, Andre! Sweet, sweet young man - he was a highlight. And this tour, in general, was a good way to spend part of a relatively long port of call at Skagway. Would have liked more "off the main highway" stops, maybe less time at the Carcross destination. But the main problem with our experience was the massive screw-up on the (broken) promised lunch & water included. We were a van full of vegetarians - all ordered a special lunch as the website directed. My friend was the only meat eater so she had 10 lunches to pick from. But no water for anyone. Luckily, my friend & I brought our own but the other poor family not allowed to take water from their ship so had none. No lunch or water is acceptable (can plan for that) but not if its promised & then not delivered en route.
