    Chris is AMAZING!!!

My family and I booked Chris for a 4-day trip covering Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and the guy is simply amazing. He knows the park like the back of his hand and he also knows everything you can imagine about the wildlife, geography, traffic, accommodations, restaurants, sites, etc. It made our trip effortless and so memorable, and he even whipped out some surprises for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. He's so thoughtful and even took time out to entertain our 4 kids which wasn't a part of what we signed him up for, he just goes above and beyond. It was the trip of a lifetime thanks to Chris and I can't recommend him enough. Do yourself a favor and ask for Chris -- you won't regret it!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words and for sharing such a wonderful experience. We're thrilled to hear that Chris made your trip effortless, memorable, and special for your family’s celebration. We’ll be sure to pass along your appreciation to Chris. It was a pleasure to be part of your unforgettable adventure in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Park!

Good trip from Good Trip Adventures Yellowstone

My wife and I booked this tour somewhat "in the blind" but were not disappointed. The guide, a young Montana native, Kelsi Weaver was outstanding, giving us every opportunity to take photos and keeping us informed of the various wildlife in the area. We had a hot tomato basil soup and fantastic deli sandwiches for lunch and more snacks than I can name. We saw bison, coyote, moose, mule deer, elk, ducks, Rocky Moutnain Bighorn, raven, and wolves (although about a mile away). The only possible negative came when Liz from Good Trips called well in advance to confirm the details of our visit. Trip Advisor let us schedule lodging in West Yellowstone for this tour. Good Trips operates out of Bozeman and only through Gardiner for their winter tours. Liz quickly fixed the problem, and we were able to re-schedule our lodging in Gardiner.

Response from the operator: I'm so glad this tour worked out for you!! Planning a winter trip to Yellowstone can be confusing with all of the winter road closures. I'm so glad we could help figure it out with you, and that you had such an incredible wildlife experience with Kelsi. If you're ever here in the summer, we'd love to pick you up in West Yellowstone :). We hope to see you again! -Liz

    Great Experience provided by Kelsey!

I don't even know where to begin! Kelsey was an incredible host - impeccably knowledgeable, funny, and down-to-earth in every way possible. The natural views of the landscape in Yellowstone in the winter are near heavenly. The animals coats are full and glimmering. And the lack of crowds brought out a ton of very rare surprise animal sightings! Everything about this excursion was nothing short of magical. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Thank you!! We're so glad you had such a magical day in the park with Kelsi - sounds like she helped you find some pretty incredible spots! No crowds and tons of wildlife is the Yellowstone dream. Thank you for sharing your sweet day with us!

Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bozeman.

How much does Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe cost?

    +

Prices start at $973 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bozeman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bozeman is not rushed.

Is Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bozeman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bozeman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bozeman and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Full Day Private Tour & Snowshoe start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bozeman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bozeman?

    +

Bozeman handles the north side of Yellowstone: park day tours, wildlife safaris in Lamar Valley, fly fishing on the Gallatin, rafting, and Big Sky skiing in winter. On Outty we rank every Bozeman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Alpaca and Llama Farm Tour, Best Of Yellowstone Full Day Nat'l Park Tour From Bozeman, Full Day Yellowstone National Park Tour with lunch included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bozeman?

    +

June to September for park tours, December to March for skiing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bozeman?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
