Heaven in Yellowstone Times Two!
I shared this on Viator as well: "We had the most excellent day around the upper loop of Yellowstone. When you have a knowledgeable and personable guide like Dayne Pack, with Cassanova tours to teach you all he knows about everything at the park, you may as well be in heaven times two! Just being in the park is heaven one and seeing through such expert eyes is heaven number two. I can’t say enough! We saw most everything one could see and will remember this trip for a lifetime. Thank you Dayne! Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on both Viator and here as well! Your description truly made us smile. We love the way you described Yellowstone as “heaven one” and experiencing it through Dayne’s eyes as “heaven number two.” That perfectly captures what we hope every guest experiences on our tours. Dayne has an incredible passion for Yellowstone, its wildlife, and its history, and he genuinely enjoys sharing that knowledge with every guest. We’re so glad he helped make your visit such a memorable one and that you were able to experience so much of the park in a single day. Thank you again for your kind words and for choosing Yellowstone’s Casanova Guided Tours. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

Exceptional experience - must do at Yellowstone!
We had an absolutely delightful experience with Jack. I’m surprised this tour does not have more reviews considering the level of service offered here. Jack has a treasure trove of knowledge on all things Yellowstone - he knows the history behind everything, has an idea of the best routes and spots to see wildlife and takes special care to ensure that you get to see and do everything you want to. He truly went above and beyond to make our day extremely special, including circling back to some locations where wildlife was not immediately visible. Truly stellar time management and route planning to pack as much as possible into our eight hours. This was the best thing we did at Yellowstone - Cannot recommend this tour and Jack enough.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible review! We’re thrilled to hear Jack made your Yellowstone experience so memorable. His passion for the park, deep knowledge, and commitment to creating the best possible day for every guest are exactly what we strive for. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

Jackson was an amazing guide. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about Yellowstone, you could feel his passion with everything he said. He was great with our son as well who peppered him with questions through the day. It was an early day (5am pickup) and a long day and we are so grateful for the experience we had. Highly recommend this tour. We had myself, my wife, two kids age 5 and 3, and two seniors in their upper 60s. All had a great time.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! Jackson truly loves sharing Yellowstone, and we’re so glad his passion and knowledge helped make your day special. It means a lot to hear that guests ranging from young children to grandparents all had a great experience. Thank you for the recommendation, and we hope to see your family again in the future!

Amazing family tour
We had an incredible time on the Casanova guided tour of upper Yellowstone in September. I highly recommend this tour and our guide - Jackson, who was amazing. He was not only extremely knowledgeable but very accommodating to the specific interests of our group of 6 adults and one toddler. His passion for wildlife and the park was evident and we truly enjoyed our time together. He went out of the way to make sure we had the best experience possible. We started the tour by being picked up at our condo about an hour early at Jackson’s recommendation to have the best chance to see wildlife as the sun rose and we were not disappointed. We caught sight of wolves on two occasions - once at a great distance near their den and then much closer as a pack of 6 were running through a field and later crossing a river. In addition to seeing numerous elk, mule deer and bison we also spotted a bald eagle and a coyote. The highlight of the tour, however, was watching a grizzly approach from about 500 yards up to less than 30 yards away. Jackson had us all retreat to the van as the bear grew closer but we captured amazing photos. He also shared all of his videos and photo highlights which were excellent. We definitely would not have seen the grizzly or the wolves without Jackson’s expert knowledge and commitment to giving us a wonderful experience. Sandwiches by the river really hit the spot and gave us a chance to dip our feet in the river and catch a glimpse of mountain goats in the surrounding mountain cliffs. At the conclusion of a full and eventful day, Jackson was nice enough to give us detailed recommendations on other sites to se in the park including some ‘insider’ tips. Overall, a Five Star -Plus experience !
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your group had such an incredible experience on your Casanova Guided Tour. Jackson will be delighted to know how much you appreciated his knowledge, passion, and the care he took to make your day special. It sounds like you had some unforgettable wildlife encounters including wolves, a grizzly, eagles, and so much more. We’re so glad you got to experience these rare moments safely and with Jackson’s expert guidance. Enjoying sandwiches by the river with mountain views sounds like the perfect way to pause and soak it all in. We truly appreciate your kind words and your recommendation. We’ll be sure to pass along your feedback to Jackson and he will be honored. Thank you for trusting us with your Yellowstone adventure, and we hope to welcome you back for another five star plus experience in the future.

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for West Yellowstone.
How much does Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in West Yellowstone usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in West Yellowstone is not rushed.
Is Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in West Yellowstone, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in West Yellowstone can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in West Yellowstone and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Yellowstone Full-Day Upper Loop with Wildlife Adventure w/Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central West Yellowstone within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in West Yellowstone?
+
West Yellowstone is the busiest park gateway: guided Yellowstone loops to Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic, wildlife safaris at dawn, and snowcoach or snowmobile tours once roads close. On Outty we rank every West Yellowstone experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yellowstone National Park - Full-Day Lower Loop Tour from West Yellowstone, Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour | Wildlife & Hot Springs | PRIVATE, Full Day Private Tour and Hike from West Yellowstone. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit West Yellowstone?
+
June to September for driving tours, December to March for snowcoach access. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in West Yellowstone?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
