A poor experience all round
Not the boat trip experience we were hoping for 1 hour in a crowded and bumpy mini bus transfer from Lindos then onto a very large and crowded boat. Every seat is filled so we’re stuck inside very hot. 6 hours travel both way with horrid loud music on the boat and no outdoor space for 3 hours in Symi- which is lovely but not worth that. On way back people had boarded the ship early and laid on seats to sleep so I had to stand for 2 hours on return- staff don’t organise the seating on way back- she was too busy taking selfies and calling friends while she smoked. our belongings left in seats were just thrown on the wet floor by those who came back early to take our seats and then pretend you aren’t there. Upside- the variety of people's tattoos and vapes were many and varied.

Left stranded with no shelter or facilities.
Cruise on the way there was fairly choppy and windy but we got there okay. It was too windy to snorkel which was a let down but didn’t bother us too much. However, when we returned to the ship after the two hours free time on the island, we were told to wait another hour. Once we returned after the hour we were told nothing by the crew when returning to the boat but just to take a seat. After sitting and waiting half and hour past the time we were meant to depart, the crew had still not informed anyone of what was happening. Guests were having to go and ask individually and were all getting different answers. Everyone was so confused not knowing what was going on and the crew were no help at all as they did not make one single announcement during the whole trip. Finally we were told to leave the boat and wait just off on the side. This then turned into us being instructed to walk to the end of the long pier where there were no facilities (food, toilets or shelter) and forced to sit there for over 2 hours whilst we waited for a ferry to arrive. Overall staff were rude and not helpful at all. If it was known to be a windy day, why sail at all and risk this happening? - no refunds either

Horror experience
Everything was terrible. We were stuck in the Symi till the night, without clear communication, only “we are waiting to see the wind”. No clear communication, no respect for customers. Avoid!

Excellent and well organized
We went on this trip Monday 6th July , well organized ,boat was lovely ,clean and well equipped ,shop on board ,spacious all be it it was a busy trip there was ample seats inside the boat ,trip takes about an hour and half to symi , st George's bay swim is on the way there not the way back great communication. Pool noodles available 3 hours in symi is enough to get a feel for it however it was the hottest place I've ever been , if it had been cooler I think we would have explored more however it. Was gorgeous and a must see ! Great organized trip and value for money

Cancelled tour without informing us
Terrible and distressing experience. We got to the port to board the boat and was told by the operator that tour had been cancelled on the day. I was furious because we did not receive any information or notification of the cancellation. Completely ruined the birthday surprise I had planned for my partner. A waste and very disappointing.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl.: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl. cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl. take?
+
Plan for about 5.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl. suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl.?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 5.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Yacht Cruise to Symi | 3 Hours Free Time | Transfer Incl. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
