Floating Gardens of Xochimilco
Board a colorful, flat-bottomed boat called a trajinera with your guide, and for an hour take a slow cruise on the chinampa channels, passing by floating gardens of flowers. As your boatman moves the vessel along by pulling a pole through the water, hear from your guide about the characteristic boats, originally hollowed from logs and once used for transportation throughout Mexico. Pass by other painted vessels transporting passengers and check out the boat vendors selling fresh food. Hungry? Good Full Day
This was a great way to hit multiple things on our list in one day. Our tour guide Gerson was very informative. The canal ride was magical and totally worth joining a tour for so you don’t have to gather a big group to rent a boat. Frida kahlo’s house was also amazing especially since it’s so hard to book tickets. We did a stop at a university for mural that I thought was a bit unnecessary. The tour was also in Spanish and English which meant that it took a while for the guide to say everything. I think separating the languages would be good.

A fantastic day
Wonderful tour experience! The guides were very knowledgeable and kept the energy up for the long day. Casa Azul was the perfect ending to the day. A very efficient way to see a few sites all in one day if you are doing a short trip.

Energetic, attentive, and knowledgeable
I traveled alone and it was not difficult to feel included as the tour guys ( Alvaro & Barbara) are very attentive. They can answer all your questions, give you recommendations, and have an amazing energy. I would say that the scheduled is well structured, except for lunch time. I think that you should have breakfast before the trip because lunch time is until 2 or 3pm. The order of the schedule goes as: Silver factory (bonus attraction), Xochimilco, UNAM, Coyoacan, meal, and Blue House. Please try to eat something at Xochimilco, if not before that. It is a lot of fun and the tour guides are great. 😊 Please bring an umbrella ☔️ Good luck and enjoy

Great choice to get to know the south of CDMX. Barbara, Álvaro and (sexy) Moi did a great job overall. Bárbara and Alvaro explained very well a bit about the story of CDMX, Xochimilco and the UNAM murals. We had some rain before getting to Frida Kahlo museum, so be prepared if you visit in rainy season. What I would skip is the first visit to the silver workshop, it wasn't in Civitatis description and would have prefer to sleep a bit more instead. Also I felt like brought to situations where you could be sold items in specific stores like: silver jewelry, WCs, Mexican food before going to the trajinera, accessories in the trajinera by some craftsman, Mariachis... Of course not mandatory and no pressure to buy anything. But from my side, I would have preferred to be aware of the options and go if interested rather than pointing us to a specific silver store or boarding with some craftsman that sells on the boat/trajinera. Like: hey guys here you have these multiple options, and then choose rather than being forced to buy to specific folks. For instance there were multiple drink/food sellers whilst in the trajinera, that was nice! TLDR Looked like wanting to get as much $ from us tourists as possible. Didn't get such feeling in other tours I've made for instance.
