Floating Gardens of Xochimilco
Board a colorful, flat-bottomed boat called a trajinera with your guide, and for an hour take a slow cruise on the chinampa channels, passing by floating gardens of flowers. As your boatman moves the vessel along by pulling a pole through the water, hear from your guide about the characteristic boats, originally hollowed from logs and once used for transportation throughout Mexico. Pass by other painted vessels transporting passengers and check out the boat vendors selling fresh food. Hungry? Something to do while in Mexico city
It's a whole day tour but it was fun. We went to a shop that makes silver and other things then Xochimilco, a boat ride through the canal. Then a stop at a university. Our guide, Allan, was very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico then lunch around 3PM then headed to the Frida's house.

Amazing experiences lived with friends
If you’re coming to Mexico I feel like a tour guide is a must! I booked with Amigos tour and booking it was super easy. Our tour guides Hector and Eli were amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly, even threw in some jokes. Riding on a bus where you can nap while you’re sitting in traffic is great, and also not having to worry about carrying your own tickets. I highly recommend

Full day, good memories
Did the day tour Xochilmilco and Freda’s museum. Tour guide Hector was funny and informative, my favorite combo for a tour. Driver Eli was excellent. We bought the included lunch but I think you may find better food in the market Coyoacán a few blocks from Freda’s museum. Still highly recommend tour! Very fun!
